I know that's a stupid question to ask, but I have to say that I like both seasons for different reasons. Bear with my rantings here . . .
Season 1 was the ultimate Dreamer episode. We got to watch M&L fall in love. *Sigh* and their love was more innocent and slightly less complicated back then. Then of course, Trash had to come and ruin it all (although she probably didn't mean to)
Season 3 was still great for me, mainly because Max and Liz got back together finally. YAH! How long have us Dreamers been waiting for that? And plus it shows that their love and feelings for each other was strong enough although they had to endure many hardships that past year (Alex dying and Trash getting pregnant. YUCK!) In fact it made them closer. I think that we all hope that we all hope to find our own soulmate someday just like M&L and that is what makes their relationship so special.

Why would you be a dopehead? I mean okay, not that anyone would seriously vote for S3, but that doesn't make you a dopehead...well maybe just a little! *kidding, you know I love your topics*

I think in season three there relationship was more realistic. I know I'm probilly going to get bitched at but it's the truth. In season one their relationship seemed to simple as in it was a nieve relationship well and then after Tess came along there relationship sort of became realistic and it defiantly was realistic in season three. I mean don't get me wrong I'm a season 1 as much as anyone else here it's just I like the third season M/L relationship better. Which is why I like Max and Liz's' season three relationship better because they weren't acting like two nieve teenagers in love they were in a real relationship. In season three they knew they were in love and had a more realistic relationship. With trials, bumps and obstacles and in my opinion I think they had a nieve relationship in season 1 and those certainly aren't real. Especially when Max was bent on hell on finding his son, and I admire him for taking responsibility for his mistake sleeping with Tess. Although I did hate when he treated Liz as a doormat and looking more for his son then paying attention to his other life in school and being Liz's' boyfriend. ~Hannah Stargazer InCrowder Lamptrimmer Dreamer Awakening Double Dipper Anti-Rebel Journal Keeper Healer Teflon Babe Donor Cowgirl Applesaucer Behrian Pixie Chick Eternal Believer B/A 4ever!

Well, I saw Season 3 first (I didn't start watching the show until last year) and absolutely adored Liz and Max. But now I've seen Season 1 in the reruns and I'd definitely have to say that I liked it better. Just the innocence of their relationship and the tender moments between them. I so wish I could have a relationship like that!

Well, I enjoy both for different reasons but I still have a slight preference for Season 1 as well. But I agree with you about their relationship being more realistic because they were more idealistic in the first season. I loved how they managed to stay together even through all the hardships they had to encounter. I totally hate it when people call Max and Liz unrealistic because they are in fact pretty realistic. They fight, yell at each other, and have to face pain and unresolved feelings just like a real couple so what's not realistic about that? I get so mad when people say such things. And if they don't fight, they accuse them of being boring. It's like they want them to get along totally yet be realistic.

Uhm season 1! Because...well I didn't see season 3! Because I've stopped watching at the end of season 1, Because that Tess girl came into the picture, and well...I didn't like her! In season 1 you can see the love 'blossom' between Max and Liz, and I loved it!

I've been told/confronted and convinced that I'm not a TRUE dreamer if I do not like season one. so by peer pressure I'm going with one. Even though i started watching Roswell in Season Three in the eppy with Isabel's wedding (to have and to hold)...that chemistry was there and made in season one and i can't deny that! heather

Definitely, Season One up until JK started smoking something and the two blonde girls took over the show then it all went to hell. IMO. No offense to anyone.

a side for the whole max/tess having sex i liked season two. It was exciting and moving. I don't think i cried with any eppys other than END OF THE WORLD & CRY YOUR NAME. (extra note: can i say it sicken me beyond all belief to see Tess show any tears for Alex's death. I never thought I'd get sucked in to hating Tess but I felt like i could go into dry heves seeing Tess crying...*anger building up inside!*) No other eppy really moved me to tears than those two. I know they killed max and liz's relationship, but CHANGES...changed everything. I honestly think that's how season three should have begun. It was honest and straight to the point. Other than the huge holes and chads EVERYONE reminds me of and of course i see...season two had some things that could have been interesting if developed properly. and so there's my rant... Heather

I agree about the End of the World, even though it broke my dreamer heart is was probably the best episode of Season 2. However, I have a lot of problems with Season 2 and Season 3 mainly because of certain actors getting showcased more than the others that clearly deserved it more. Also the stupid plot lines that filled up two and three episodes at a time. *cough: flying jellyfish: cough*
Edited to say: I'm not trying to offend anybody who feels differently. We all have different takes on things and that's just mine.
