For those of you who may not have heard, Sci-Fi channel is pulling Roswell from the 6:00 time slot and is moving it to what they call the "daytime rotation" which is from 11am-3pm. But as of right now, they don't have it scheduled for a day. I am thoroughly pissed off about this news because I am not at home in the middle of the day! They say they are changing the time because of bad ratings, but somehow I don't think this is going to help. According to www.scifi.com, Meet the Dupes and Max in the City will air tomorrow and Thursday, and then after that, I don't know. I am so mad! :tantrum

I heard of this too. So sad for those who have Sci-fi. Isn't it frustrating that the odds are always stacked so high for Roswell?

God damn it! I was hoping I would be able to get all the episodes!

Those bastards! It's not fair. Roswell is an excellent show and it gets so under apprechiated! Why because it doesn't center around sex and soap opera plots? Like other shows like it?

The least they could've done is to have it on at 5:00 my time at least for the next two weeks so I could get the episodes I don't have.

Plus I only like to watch Buffy in syndication when it's at seasons 1-3. Just when I thought my week couldn't get any worst! It does!

Sassy: You and me both. I don't live in the States either, and as usual, I didn't know anything about the suckers at SciFi changing the time slots till I saw this thread...:( What the...:wtf
I don't understand either how Roswell can have so little audience when I still think that, even though the overall storyline sucks a big one, it's one of the best shows (actually THE best show) out there due to dialogue and psychological character development...:(

I'm MAD! :wall :rant :censor ed

changing the time slot isn't that bad...I mean it could be worse and cut off air for good! :shake

And if I had my opinion to change time slots I'd say move it to 9PM-midnight. 6PM was hard for me to watch because of after work activities.

How long is Scifi's contract to keep Roswell?

Sci-Fi has the rights to Roswell for 5 years. But with only 61 episodes, I obviously knew they weren't going to air them continuously. But still, why cut them off when they are right in the middle of a season? I'm trying (as I know many others probably are also) to get them all on tape. With them coming on in the middle of the day, I'll have to tape with commercials. (I know, I'm so whiny!) Blondee, I agree with you that a later time slot would be the best way to go.

Let's all just keep our hopes up that those dumbasses over at Sci-Fi get their act together.

I noticed this as I was flipping through the guide to see which eps were coming up. So, it's going to air now anytime between 11-3?

Maybe we should stalk Sci-Fi. :rebel

Kris - Want me to stalk them for ya? ;) :mummy

Actually, maybe if we dropped them a reasonable e-mail, you know, no venting, just asking politely if they would consider finishing to air all the eps of this round, and then they can suspend the reruns? :dunno

I think that a lot of people are doing that, actually. I thought about sending one, but I didn't really know what to write. I just really really really really really really hope that they will change their minds and let it finish out its run before they change the time! :(

From the way I understand it, they change the show that airs at the 11-3 time slot everyday. So like one day they would show 4 episodes of Roswell, and the next day 4 episodes of something else. But I don't know how many shows they will be rotating, so there's no telling how often it will come on! :wall

PS- As far as I can see it's not on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday of next week at all!

Here's 2 addresses you can send e-mails to:

feedback-broken-email-www.scifi.com

program-broken-email-www.scifi.com

I checked scifi.com today, and they have no Roswell on the schedule for the rest of this month or next month! :tantrum

I thinks sending emails would at least make them sit up and take notice that Roswell fans, even those who DON'T have Scifi won't take them doing this to our show. :tantrum

I'm confused. :dunno :dunno

I got a TV guide for next week and according to it. It says that on Monday Star Trek will air and the rest of the week they have Roswell on at 5:00 my time.

Is it going to be on or isn't it? :dunno :dunno :dunno . I'm so confused. :shake :shake :shake :thinking :thinking :thinking

It's possible that the TV Guide went to print before Sci-Fi made the change, because I think it was kind of a spur of the moment decision to pull it. TV Guide Online I think is still showing Roswell on the schedule too. But according to Sci-Fi's website, Star Trek will now be airing in Roswell's place.

If Sci-Fi is considering to air 4 eppys a day...it's not more crazy then what TBS did for Dawson's Creek.

I tried to watch as many as I could (depending on my work hours) but very rarely was I able to watch all four.

*wink, wink* I scheduled around the eppys that showed JB :aroused :aroused :aroused :aroused

know what...i'm taking another stand on this topic.

i don't dame sci-fi but roswell!

the ratings didn't show anything different then what it did before it was cancelled.

I think reality is just sinking in for me...i'm finally going to let it die.
