I remembered this site from awhile back and decided to check it out again... I also found teasing nicknames for IT So I'll put a couple and then start with the name meanings Corky Whoretny (I made this one up myself ) All right, all right... here we go... Elizabeth - God's perfection, God's promise Maria - Rebellion, sea of bitterness (hey! ), wished-for child Michael - Who resembles God? Max - The greatest. Isabel - (turns out Isabel is a form of "Elizabeth," therefore it also means "God's promise.") Alex - Protector of men. Kyle - Narrow. Straight - Ahem... anyone want to do their own names? Click Here

How typical! Guess that just explains why I'm always so lost!

Its source is Gwenhwyfar, a Welsh name meaning "Pure and yielding, whitewave." And I had to do Michael too- This girl's and boy's name is used in English. Nicknames? Well, let's see...when I was in 8th grade my Comm. Studies teacher showed Forrest Gump in class one day. For the rest of the year, I was no longer Jenny. I was Jen-nay (and you have to say it in the Southern retarded Forrest voice)! And my friend Jessie, I swear she called me that all the way through high school!

I saw that you had already done Alex, "helper of man" ~ well, being an Alexandra, I reckon that is pretty cool! I have this thing with the meaning of my name on it, and that is exactly what it says! Well, it certainly could be worse!
