I don't think anyone will be offended by your thread, this is actually the coolest thing about this board: people are really nice and don't take your personal opinion as an offense.

I don't really like Tess, but I don't hate her as much as some people do. I just think that her character was not written very coherently, that's all. She's either evil, or she's not. But none of that one-day-she's-caring-one-day-she's-evil-thing.
I don't hate Jesse either, I'm just pretty indifferent about him. I didn't like the way his character was introduced though. My favourite Jesse scene is from IMaA, when he and Eric are in the kitchen and Eric is telling Jesse that he thinks Michael has super-powers and might be a space alien, and Jesse just laughs so hard and uses the empty beer bottles as antennae - I just LMAO with him there!

I liked how Jesse stood up for Isabel. I thought he was a really nice guy.

I know what you mean, Alien Stalker, about Tess being evil and then being nice. I guess actually I've met a fair number of people like that--both evil and nice. And probably I think there are a number of politicians and some corporate executives who are like that. I've noticed that some serial killers have been described as being nice and then turn out to be murderers.

I didn't trust Tess at all when she was first introduced. I wanted her out of there. It wasn't until I read that some people really liked her that I paid any attention to her. I wondered how they could like her or think she was cool. When people began talking about Emilie De Ravin (who played Tess) and how very friendly she was and how very kind she was to the fans, I decided to pay more attention to the character.

I liked the Christmas episode where she set up Valenti and Amy. I thought it was great that she served Kyle's favorite dish. I also liked that she offered to leave their home. I loved how Kyle asked her to stay.

Kyle was another character that I didn't like or trust at the beginning. I was very fearful each episode of what he might do.

Two different ways two characters turned out--I guess that's another thing I like about Roswell. The show kept me guessing and wanting to see more!

I also think it's okay to start a thread like this here. I tell you, people here are definitely NOT as sensitive as other boards and I feel really free to say what I really want here compared to other boards.

Aparo - That's true, of course. Actually that's one of the really good things about Roswell: the characters IMO are not onedimensional. In Tess' case, however, I thought they had exxagerated. Fine, she might have killed Alex by accident, but then her whole behavior before taking off simply did not match that. They (the writers) had her being really evil in the end while before she was sometimes manipulative, sometimes nice...I just thought that the way Tess was written was not very coherent. The sudden changes of her behavior didn't make much sense to me sometimes.
I also think Emilie de Ravin looks really nice and I do believe that she's kind to the fans and stuff. i think THAT no one here doubts. They all have issues with Tess. Right?

You're also right about Jesse always being loyal to Isabel. i just didn't care so much about those two because I was caught up 100% in watching the Candy action on screen. - Wait? What Candy action? - Oh yeah, S3 basically lacked it, so...
