I know this is kind of a duh question, since I've seen a lot of Max supporters here, but there's no harm in asking, right? I think Max is cuter and more responsible and romantic but sometimes his behaviour angers me. I really admired some things Michael does like sticking up for Liz when no one believed her about Michael (I'm kinda on a hunch here since I haven't watched it yet). So, what do you guys think?

Michael, Michael, Michael...then again, I'm just a Candy lover, so I'm not too objective here...
Anyway: I really, really hated Max most of the time in Season 3. His character had nothing to do with the sweet guy from season 1 (and 2).

I completely agree with Stalker. Of course I love Max to pieces. Dreamer and all. BUT only the one in Season one and half of S2. After that, I just HATED him. His character did change drastically from what we knew. Now Michael I have to give credit to, because his character stayed the same throughout all 3 seasons.
Hmm.. if I had to pick, could I pick Kyle? Because he I loved. Funny, funny, funny... great character and never was a jerk. :grin

Gotta agree with Jennifer about the Kyle part...he's hilarious, and he's basically the only person that's never screwed up. Michael had that brief intermezzo of temporary insanity in Who Died and Made You King, and I really didn't like him in that episode. BUT: I still love his character because I think it was perfectly elaborated by the wirters, you know, his tough-guy attitude and so on...

Ok...I'll probably get my butt kicked, but Max...all the way. Even though I was not happy  at all about season 2, I still adored him! Michael, he kind of annoyed me at first always being so against Liz and Maria (even though I understand his reasons), but he totally grows on you. By the end of S3, I loved him. Kyle..did not like him at all in the first season and a half. He was in the way of Max and Liz and that was all I was concerned about!  But I did start to give him a chance and realized just how funny he was! I loved him in S3 too! Alex...I Alex. Total nerdy computer guy. The kind of guy every girl needs to have as a friend. The one that would do anything for you and the one you know will always be there, (Until Tess mindwarps him to death!  ) Just the perfect, sweet wonderful guy every girl would be lucky to get.

I think Max is way better looking . . . sometimes (please don't kill me). In my opinion, he looked really good in the last few episodes, thanks to his newly improved haircut. I didn't like the look his hair in the beg of S3. I prefer clean-cut guys, plus it's a little unnerving seeing the 'saintly' Max like that.
Michael looked good when his hair was really short (don't mind me, I have a thing for guys with short, messed up hair. I think it makes them look hotter) His Season 2 hair was still fine with me, but I didn't like it when it became really long.

Max over Michael. I mean you had to hate Max for a lot of what he did, but c'mon once obsessed, always obsessed.
But Kyle... I'd pick Kyle over both of them if he were part of the choices. He was funny. I just totally loved him.

Dreambehr - Have to agree with you about Michael's hair in S3...a hair-cut would do only good for him. Apart from that, I still maintain that Michael has something Max lacks: maybe it's an aura thing (or it's simply more sex-appeal  ). I like Max for being the Teddybear-kind of guy you just want to hug for eternity (or maybe just for Season 1, half of S2, and the last episodes of S3). But Michael's the hottie. Please don't hit me.

Yes, Michael's hair was a bit long in season three, but come on... Maria's hair didn't look so great in the pilot ep, Liz didn't look so great with tons makeup on (ie; prom), Isabel's shorter hair looked like it hadn't been washed half of the time, Tess didn't look good in all of season two, and Max didn't look good on top of Tess  See, everyone has their flaws... And Michael is just plain sexy (same goes for Maria )
