I don't even know where to begin. That was just about one of the best episodes ever IMO. Kyle~ God do I love him. Every line was hysterical. "She's not dead yet?" "Oh, the murderer has a side" I about fell off the couch on that one. "Out of all the aliens I know, your the only one without a soul." I loved how Kyle let her have it. Max~ I loved how he was going to kill her too. That speaks a thousand words. It proves he does not trust her nor loved her. Liz~ GO LIZ! Whoo Hoo! She finally put her in her place. I also can't believe the dreamer scenes in the beginning. They were actually going to cement right then and there if they had not been interrupted. Damn phone anyway! The parents~ I was glad to see that they would overlook the situation and realize that they DO love their children no matter what. I actually was really pleased how not just one, but ALL of them voiced their anger at her and wanted her dead. No one would forgive her for the illusions she pulled on them. I was glad that Max put the child's safety and well-being first. That he realized he would never be safe with him. Trash~ Do I really have to say anything about her? Well, okay.. to be honest, I was shocked that she said what she did to Liz. That she wanted to go out with doing one thing right. However, I still do not trust her. I saw no dead body. Which would really lead me to believe that she blew everything up and escaped. How stupid do I look? Lastly, the best part of all for me was the line that Kivar was going to kill her and the baby because the baby was not the heir. Which proves beyond a doubt that Trash IS NOT THE QUEEN. Which we all knew all along. Most of us anyway. Therefore, IMO Liz is the true Queen and if her & Max did have a child together- that would be the heir. Happy Dance Okay, who's next?

WARNING! This contains a true fan reaction to this episode. Therefore it contains swear words. You have been warned!
"Nice to get close to you again?" Never thought I Dreamer make-out scene would make me want to hurl, but I just wheeled over the Rubbermaid 48 gallon Trash Barrel just to be on the safe side. Hope it's enough. Wake up Liz, and run away with Kyle. SOONEST! And I am a Dreamer by the way...
Hit her Jesse, HIT HER!
Don't Air Force officers have to salute when they are given a direct order from a superior officer, acknowledging the order and getting permission to leave?
Michael, I know just where you can stick that "alien artifact".
Why does Diane look like she is wearing a dead squirrel on her head? She and Isaboob must share the same hairstylist/taxidermist/car wash.
AAAAACKKKK The GERBIL! Thank GOD I stopped by the liquor store on the way home. I wonder if one case of Maker's Mark will be enough? Nope, it won't.
SpOT has the same dumbfounded look on its face that all of the fans have. I think it is thinking to itself: "why would they possibly want to go with this plotline? Are they trying to drive the fans away?" And oh how they succeeded beyond their wildest dreams, and our nightmares...
I see EdR has the same "Oscar caliber" puppet-on-a-string acting style. Hasn't she been deported yet? I signed the petition...
"If you kill me, you kill Zan". What are you waiting for, Max? "You'll just have to trust me?" Are you kidding?
"I can't believe I ever cared about you." Neither can all of those fans that left for "Smallville". And all of us idiots who stayed. SIGH
Sorry, but the military cannot barge in Valenti's house. Has Martial Law been declared? Maybe Sheriff Hanson is an improvement over Sheriff Valenti? Yup. Definitely. At least Hanson gets a haircut once and awhile.
So rather than use Infrared heat seeking technology, they are using helicopters with searchlights? Yeah, sure.
And Trash hopscotched the entire way from the base? She couldn't mindwarp someone and steal their car? Let the bloodhouinds track that.
"Not without a search warrant." At least Phillip knows the law. Too bad the "writers" don't. SIGH
Let Michael kill Trash DAMN IT!
"My heart bleeds". At least Michael has the right idea!
"GET UP BITCH!" FINALLY, the fans get a small bit of what WE WANT! Too bad it was mixed in with two seasons full of SHIT!
Notice how the Demon Spawn didn't react when Trash was getting blasted? Notice how everyone is too stupid to notice? "Linked" my ass!
"Don't come near me. Why haven't you killed her yet?" At least Kyle isn't insane.
"The murderer has a side. You are the only one that has no soul." Is Kyle the only character who is still written by a season one writer?
I see Maria shares Diane and Isabel's taxidermist.
Maria with a little wisdom. Must be on drugs.
Trash with the constipated look. Oh how I have missed that. Not.
Trash can't hold a thirty second mindwarp? Yeah, sure. Amazing how she used to be able to hold off oodles of people in the past. What's another plothole, there are so many. And just why does SpOT look like it is a couple months old when it, according to JK's "logic", is really a year old? Old enough to be spayed and/or neutered. Can anyone say "plothole"? And just how did Trash/Demon Spawn contact Max all the way from Antar in the Whirlwind Galaxy in "Busted", when Trash can't hold a mindwarp for thirty seconds? Was she hooked up to the Professor's generator with Gilligan pedaling the coconut bicycle for that extra power boost?
And just WHY would the "Royal Four" need the Granilith, when an ordinary old UFO can traverse the galaxies with such astonishing ease? I guess Trash rented the hot-rod UFO at ENTERPRISE Rent-a-car on Antar. I thought "space is big. It is not like Star Trek." OOPS, there I go remembering what they said before. Me bad. I must remember to take my electro-shock treatments between each episode just like the "writers" do.
So now they have Max's license plate, and therefore name, and address. I know this is a little plothole considering they just leave the Evans alone. How stupid can the "writers' possibly get? That goes for the video tape as well. Why would they take that out of everything in the house? PLEASE! Stupid writing, even for RosShit. Talk about a lame plot set-up for a series finale. SIGH
I vote for plan B. Liz is obviously now insane just like the rest of 'em. SIGH
And alien/human genetically engineered hybrids produce an all human SpOT. I don't care what the dominant/recessive rules are for human offspring. This is a load of crapola when alien bioengineering is thrown into the mix. I mean PLEASE!
"Every time we kissed he was thinking of you. At least I can do one good thing with my life". How did I just know that JK would make Trash into a martyr? What an asshole! PLEASE!
"He deserves to live a normal human life". Tell that to Alex, Liz, Maria, Jim, Kyle, Jesse, and all the rest. SIGH
Good for you, Max. Dump your responsibilities off on someone else. Especially when your best friend was raised by an abusive alcoholic foster father who kept him around for the monthly check.
"I'll always be here." Liz, you are really far too stupid to ever get into Harvard, aren't you?
As a general rule, I am against infanticide, but in this case I will make an exception.
Love,
Rick
P.S. Only one more incredibly disappointing and fan-unfriendly episode of torture left. YAHOO!

I do have some issues with this episdoe, but the general Trashbashing was so much fun that I can almost forgive the bad parts.
"Why haven't you killed her yet?" heehee
"Get up bitch!" Yay! Of course, Liz went soft at the end, which disappointed me to no end, but at least I had the pleasure of seeing her use her powers to throw Tess across the room. There should have been more of that. I think they all should have used their powers to throw her around.

Mixed emotions on the ep. Some parts were great (the bashing) other parts I completely hated (how they make Tess look like a hero ). I loved how everybody was mean to Tess on her return. Especially Kyle. He's just so damn adorable. Totally loved the scene where Liz throws Tess across the room with her power She got what was coming to her. Zan is too cute to hate. I hated him from the beginning, but jeez that baby is so adorable, it's hard to hate him. Oh the ending was... I dunno if-fy, I guess. Was glad she admitted to Liz that Max only loved her. I mean I knew that all along (Yes I'm a die-hard dreamer), but it was nice hearing it. I have a feeling she's probably still alive cuz hell she can mindwarp and do all sorts of crap. But if she did die (doubt it), they made her look like some sorta hero and it ALMOST made me feel sorry for her. ALMOST being the key word. Oh yeah and I though Bill Sadler did a great job directing the episode!

I'm letting NO ONE...you hear me...NOT ONE HUMAN BEING to influence my thoughts of last night's eppy. I LOVED IT! shall i say it again...well hell yes I will, because I can... I LOVED ITAs a whole the show went from scene to scene very nicely and when it would go to commerical...I was like...hey wait don't leave me hanging. I'm with the majority when you all comment on how great Liz's lines where---with Tess. Emily played a good role and no one felt bad for her, even if they didn't want to see her strapped down in the "white room" --they had there reasons...the same as how people feel about the death pentally...but that's another topic all together--- ANYWHO...I think Max did a good job and I didn't see anyone else comment on Michael's reaction to seeing Tess...I thought that was pretty darn funny Kyle---I'll have to give him the MVP award, once again because he's made me laugh for two straight shows in a row. It's not his fault that I didn't pick up on his humor before, becasue truthfully he wasn't written anything to let him shine like he has in the last two eppys. I also want to say William did a good job directing this eppy and I think he had a lot of good things to work in his favor. I really enjoyed seeing new and old coming together (minus Alex, but he was in there because he was in everyone's thoughts) and seeing how they would react when the shit really hits the fan. The first comment that came to mind was: "when it rains, it pours" I give it 5 stars. The last eppy looks interesting...almost where everyone must stage their death to break free from Roswell.

Ah, I finally saw it on Thursday on the net. Both sites were slow in uploading it. Where do I begin. I'm certainly not going to analyse it to death and I'll start by saying I LOVED IT TOO. It had everything and everyone you could possibly want in the show. Not too much of Isabore and a nice little scene between M/L to wet our appetites (so to speak). Did Liz put her tongue in Max's ear or was I just dreaming ? The pace of the show was too fast though and it could have been a 2 episode affair. They could have combined the first 2 episodes (WDAMYK and Crash) and therefore had 3 episodes to explain the rest of the stuff more comprehensively (if that makes sense). Maria was certainly having a bad hair day and Trash just looked like she'd milked 200 cows. The baby was absolutely adorable and apparently it was one of 3. Even though I'm vehemently against Trash, the song they played at the end of the episode was by an Australian singer; Kasey Chambers. Oh, the irony of it all ! Did the writers do that deliberately or what ?

Ok one and all, here's my opinion of this episode...I SOOOOOOOOOO LOVED IT! I pulled my favorite quotes from the episode and made my own little comments... MICHAEL TO MAX: Have you been body snatched or something? I liked you better when you where brooding and paranoid. MAX:That's a buzz kill!---Yeah...anyone's mom calling while your making out would really be a buzz kill! LOL He lets Tess lie on the floor after she passes out when she gives him Zan. How funny is that?! MAX TO TESS: Sit...Down! Ok, was it me, or did Max sound kind of scary..like Clayton scary? Not that I don't love that deep voice! MAX TO TESS: Making you feel better isn't one of my priorities! Go Max! Whoo-hoo! TESS TO MAX: Your just going to have to trust me!--Hah! Famous last words. Bitch! GRRRR! MAX TO TESS: I can't believe I ever cared about you. (No shit, you and everyone one else!) LOL KYLE TO JESSE (ON PHONE): Oh...my brain is exploding over here! (Yours and mine both!)...Jesse? Jesse? Oh, you did not just do that! LOL MICHAEL: Yeah, my heart bleeds TESS: Nice to see you too, Michael. MAX: Hey...don't start! LOL Just thought that was a cute little dig/slap...ie.Max isn't putting up with your lip anymore! LIZ TO TESS: GET UP, BITCH! It's about frickin' time! OMG, I about fell off my bed! I have been waiting for Liz to tell Tess off since "Crazy" episode! KYLE: Why haven't you killed her yet? MICHAEL: Max wouldn't let me!-- ROFLMAO! I just love these two more and more! KYLE TO TESS: You have a side? Ah. The murderer has a side! LOL MICHAEl TO TESS THEN MAX: Hey..your not the one calling the shots around here! But Maxwell, she's right. We need to get the hell out of here!-- Smooth, Michael! LOL KYLE TO TESS: Can't you breast feed? LMAO! Go Kyle. MICHAEL: Let me get this straight...if the baby doesn't need you to survive..we could kill you?! It's about time someone's frickin' thinking! LOL TESS: Why didn't you vote against me? LIZ: Because I'm not a killer, Tess. I.E...I'm not like you, you psycho! Ok...is it me, or is it not totally fitting that the lawyer buddy of Mr. Evans lives in New York? Zan is going to New York! And the sigh Max gives as his parents and the baby are driving away...Ohhhh...I just lost it. I was totally bawling! ---There's my thoughts on the episode. Plus, like you've all mentioned...s'up with Maria's hair? Yuck! And may God stike me down for saying this, but I actually didn't mind Isabel in this episode...probably because it wasn't all about her! OH! And thank you soooo much to the writers for repeatedly mentioning Alex! That rocked! Ok...I'm done babbling! LOL Ta-ta for now!

destinyros2005--- those were great quotes! I'm personally connected to the quote Kyle made about Michael in Crash. "get a tatoo saying, I'm eternally sorry and flash it every half an hour to save time." LOVE IT! Maybe that's something we could have as a final farwell to Roswell on this board. A post of favorite quotes from each Roswell season and then an overall Best Quote. Something that imbodies the show. What do you think?

I'm not sure if I'm the best person to answer this question, but I was thinking of a quote that best describes every person involved...b/c that one you say kinda feels like it just embodies Max and Liz.
*shrugs* I don't know.
I'll have to do some research on the quote anyways.

True indeed Blondee~ BUT that is where it all began. If those words weren't spoken, if he didn't heal her, none of the characters would of come together as a group and thus no Roswell as we know it.

AH...but bunnifu. You can't exactly vouch for that because WHAT IF Max didn't heal Liz then. IF they were meant to be something else would have happened to bring them together. As a dreamer "i shall believe" they were meant to be! Max loved her for a long time, he would have came around.

Yes indeed But the question was as it stands now (not what if's) is the quote that captures the shows essence. And I believe that one is the one that describes Roswell. But it is only my opinion.

Wow, there ARE a lot of flaws in this episode. Still, I love it because of the Max and Liz part. And I'm glad that Tess finally said that Max only loved Liz. But the weird thing is if Tess knew that from the beginning, why did she stay with Max still? Because she wanted a heir and because she's Trash, that's why I say.

I think it was because of her "mission" to set up the royal four. To produce Max's heir and bring it to Kivar? Although that plan backfired because the baby (Tess's) was not the royal heir. Which leads one to only assume the "true" heir is or would be Liz and Max's child. You know seeing as Liz is the Royal four and Tess was not.

it's funny to go back and read the harmless arguements we had going on...LOL. I think having Liz be the 'true' part of the whole in the royal four was a slam on kivar and tess's evil plans to bring max, isabel and michael down---once again. Heather
