I rented 'Orange County' to watch my darling Colin, and he did not disappoint me. I was non-plussed (and annoyed) by the rest of his family, but his girlfriend wasn't half bad. The ending was kind of all happy-shiny, though. And what ever happened to the police looking for his bro? I loved Ben Stiller (or was it Ben Affleck?) having a cameo. That was a riot. The whole scene with him questioning Jack Black was hysterical, and then after Jack Black takes off. :lol

Now, to finish watching LotR and Monsters Inc. by Wednesday, 'cause that's when Monsters Inc is due back. I should watch that one, then go back to LotR, which isn't due until Saturday. Yeah! I'm off to bed now. Later, y'all!

I still have to see Orange County, because I didn't manage in summer when it started in theaters here because I went off for vacation.

Ooh, I saw and have Get Over It on DVD. I didn't like it as much as Orange County though. I heard that Colin got the part along with the role of Alex both on a weekend.

I sit here, half awake :coffee

(you know, when you just stare and you're so out of it nothing registers). My car won't start, I'm really late for class, and I'm just :mad

about the whole thing, but what can you do? And, oye, what timing! I had to miss classes yesterday to go testify in a disciplinary hearing (not for me. Long story), and today I'm missing classes again. :mad

But it's so :jitters

that my engine won't start. It's not going to get above zero today. AUGH! Hey, at least the heat in my apartment works. And I am getting chores done that I didn't think I'd have time to get to until this weekend, so that's a good thing. Oh, and something I am praising God for: I don't have to work outside this afternoon at the zoo! :celebrate

Didn't have to Monday morning, either. The instructor is in Florida (the rat!), so no class. Which means I get done four hours early today. :grin

Not that this has anything to do with Colin, but I had to share my morning with someone. And all that after waking up half an hour late.

That's true. I actually didn't catch onto the "Hanks" thing until after I had read it somewhere, and then I thought, how blind can a person be not to see that he's Tom's son? They look very muck alike.

At least you get to stay in your warm apartment, which is gonna be something I will be craving for the next few months: there is virtually no central heating system in Portugal. Talk about fun staying there. More like teeth chattering. :jitters
