I liked Regular Max because he was nice (Season 1, beg of Season 2), responsible (sometimes, and romantic . . . but I'll never forgive him for sleeping with Tess. Sorry to sound too harsh, but that really made me mad.
Nasedo Max was great because he had that bad boy vibe going on (just look at his eyes) but he was kind of scary though!
I don't like Future Max, he had weird hair and he brought bad news for Max and Liz. But I liked it how he told Liz that they got married and everything *Sigh*.
Zan was a slight improvement over Future Max, but we got to see him like for two minutes before he got killed. How mean!
Clayton Max looked better and had nicer clothes but his socks and shoes were weird.

Season one Max all the way! :lol

I always love :love

that version of him. To me Nasado, Clayton and Zan weren't really Max but someone else. Future Max seemed to of had a purpose originally but then the writers ditched it and went somewhere else in the storyline altogether so for that it sucked. :lol

And the after Trash version of Max was just ugly in my eyes. That's when I fell in :love

with Kyle. What's a girl to do? :lol

I think I'd have to go with Bunny on that. I liked the shy and cute first season Max. But I also liked Future Max too. What can I say I'm a sucker for a guy with long hair and Jason does look good like that. mmmm Check out those Bicepts in that ep too eh?

I liked season 1 Max if we break down "regular Max" into the seasons. But there was just something about Future Max... maybe that he was closer to my age!

I adored "regular" Max, but I voted for Zan. Just something about Max being a bad boy...yummy. But I adored Max to pieces--even when he was being a butt.

Can't really vote. Like you guys have already pointed out, "regular Max" only applies to S1 and half of S2. After that, he wasn't regular Max anymore, he probably was posessed or something (possibly by Trash - no, wait, not even that's an excuse for behaving like he did. :glare

).
I also had a thing for Future Max.

I also like Drunk Max, if that can be considered as a version anyway. He was way more spontaneous and open with his feelings than Regular Max. His scenes with Kyle were also pretty funny. I wished that the writers had explored the relationship between Max and Kyle a little bit more. It would have been interesting to watch . . .

Yes. I loved Drunk Max. He put himself out there and took charge of his feelings instead of always hiding them. He would be my favorite for sure! :clap

Drunk Max was adorable... If Drunk Max, and Regular Max, and Zan had transformed into one Max... like... like a SuperMax-Zan then that last Season of Roswell could've been saved. I didn't like the moronic Max that took regular Max's place.

(There's a lot of different Max's isn't there?)
