JK wasn't behind the magic of season one-David Nutter and Thania St. John were. They were forced out at the end of the season, and THEN JK got to do what he wanted to do all along: demote Shiri, make Katy the lead, have Max and Trash together, and all of the other things that ruined the show.

I know that some people are dying to see more Roswell, but to tell you the truth, I am dying to see much, much less. I seriously wish it had been cancelled in the first season, while there was still friendship, family, love, and hope...

Really? I mean I've heard that before Rick. But I've also heard that JK actually did write the Pilot. I'm so confused. Who really did write it?

Then I've also heard that it was the networks that forced JK to turn the show a different direction or face cancelation. I would really like to know who exactly is to blame for this shit.

I think he was forced by those stupid bigwigs to change the storylines but I still hate that JK put that Max/Tess coupling in!

That's what I've always heard and let myself believe. I think other people were pushing him to do things he ready didn't want to do but he probably just ended up figuring that it was better to have "their" show and show. Not "his" show and no show at all...

And yeah, Rick... I remember you from the good old days of RoswellNet... Good to see you posting again.

RoswellNet is not a site. It's over on Yahoo (still exists actually). It's a mailing list that many of us were on at one time. (I think some of us still are )
