Okay, I just read the article on the futoncritic site...and I have a question. Why does the fact that Roswell's showing reruns on Sci-Fi mean that it's cancelled? Buffy shows reruns on FX all the time and it is still on the air. Plus, Fox didn't say the show was cancelled, just that they are allowing Sci-Fi to air it in syndication. Just a thought!

Your right, I've edited it to reflect that UPN has cancelled it, but it still has a slim chance of being picked up by another network.. ie. SCI FI for those that still need some hope. Although, I highly doubt it at this point unless the last 4 eps ratings soar into the 6's.

that just sucks! there was so much potential for this show and it's run amuck. but i have to say that the past episodes were great. and then it's cancelled. what a way to burst the bubble.

Ok, if you go to the main page of thefutoncritic scroll down untill you come across the major networks then click on UPN and Roswell is under the cancelled shows. (This is what it says for thoose of you who don't want to go to the website..) Roswell canceled after three seasons due to low ratings; look for repeats of the series on sci fi next season ~ Anywho, I went to Sci Fi.com and they only mention re-runs but I assume it's still possible they might renew it for a fourth season On that channel. UPN cancled it but, keep in mind this happend last year too with the WB but it still got picked up. Roswell is the show that just won't die so there is always a chance. Even if it's not picked up this year It may be picked up years in the future. Hey it could happen! G2G ttyl I  you all! Peace~

I still refuse to believe it! The other day the futon critic site said that the UPN was going to wait and see how the ratings looked for the last four episodes of the season before determining Roswell's fate. If the ratings were decent...we'd have a season four...if not, well...you know. So, what's a girl to believe?

True. Although I wouldn't mind if they had it end this year with it being a "dallas dream" to where it ends back at the point it started when Liz got shot. Why not? Go out in style.  Just my 2 cents.

Ok, I have a question...
Why are we believing this?
I mean, hasn't the FC always said that it was cancelled? Season 1...Season 2...Season 3...?
I really, really think we should stop and just wait for official word from UPN or FOX. I mean, isn't using common sense?
PS> Why the hell hasn't the crashdown.com said anything about this? It only leaves me in more doubt about the FC. I really think we all need to take a breath and wait...

I was thinking the same thing Destinyrebel...why hasn't Crashdown mentioned anything about this? I've been checking their site everyday to see if they post anything regarding this chaos...and nothing! It does make you wonder!

True. I mean I guess I believe it to a certain extent that UPN cancelled it (which I guess could be wrong, seeing as how UPN has said it officially yet, have they?) Maybe they are staying true to their word and are not going to say anything until after they see what happens with the ratings on the next 4 eps. Then again, it is also still a possibility (I would hope) that another channel could still pick it up. Without going into spoilers, I guess it just kind of "seemed" like it was going to cancel, after reading the direction the writers took in the last 4 eps. Just my opinion.

I guess there is a chance that this isn't true. The other seasons had also been said to be cancelled around this time of year and we still got this far, and there still is those 4 eps left so I guess, I have to agree that there's a chance that UPN hasn't "officially" cancelled Roswell yet.

I just don't know...what are we suppose to think about all this mess? According to Jason Katims, he wanted to write the last episodes that could be either a series finale or a new beginning for season four...so, I guess things could go either way. It just ticks me off that IF the show is over...they finally decided to start writing as well as they did in the first season on this last half of season three!

This whole thing is just so irritating and frustrating...
I've been anywhere and everywhere to find some kind of hard fact but I can't come up with anything. I don't know what to believe. I mean, I don't doubt that they cancelled it. They most likely did and they are just trying to stay fair and professional by keeping they F-ing mouths shut until May but still... I can't help but remember when the Crashdown posted that it was cancelled last time and they immediately sent out a letter saying that it wasn't. Ya know?
There are just too many factors and too many rumors. And not enough official work...
Argh. I hate the real world...
