I think it's kinda funny, cause that would be the English version right? (I know that she herself pronounces it the way Spicy said.) The "j" in Spanish is a pretty harsh letter, I don't know how to transcribe it phonetically though...At least "Majandra" would sound different then...

Maybe it is in Spanish, next to an vowel is pronouned like Spicy said - like Alejandro and Juan. But other places in words the "j" is hard?

She said her name in the episode where her songs were featured. :clap

Kris - In Alejandro or Juan it's exactly the same, I mean, what I call a "harsh" sound. The way Majandra says her own name isn't really the Spanish pronunciation, it's like a "light" version of it. Since her name is really Maria Alejandra, I assume it would be pronounced the Spanish way if she said it correctly. I know she says it exactly the way Spicy transcribed it though.

Thanks! I didn't really know and one of my friends who used to watch, knows I come around fan based boards. She asked me, and I became embarassed, because I hadn't a clue.
