Hi...I think that I figured myself out... Now as for the DVD's Wooo Hooo...Loyal Cult, I am a part of that...And Damn Happy! I have all three seasons on DVD that I bought off someone on Ebay, They came in a box that was decorated with labels and everything. I think that I paid about 85 bucks for all three seasons which I didn't think was bad. They are great quality etc. Anyway I will buy the ones coming out too! To have them all but this way I have the original music as well. LOL I watch them all the time. The person I bought them from also included the unaired pilot and some other cool stuff. Aren't the DVDs already available in Europe? I thought that they were...Maybe I am wrong...Mmmmmm You can get DVD players that play and Region..They are more expensive of course..but it is possible...

I saw people that were selling the DVD sets on eBay and I was so tempted to buy it...but I'm just really skeptical about stuff like that. I think I'll just wait for the official release.

Kristin - I didn't know they were out in Europe already...I have no idea how that could be either. They sure as hell are not official ones. I mean, those haven't even been released in the States yet, so no way we can get them in Europe already. And I have to start considering the option of getting a region One coded DVD-Player. I am NOT going to miss my damn favorite show on DVD, period.

I hope they will sell the DVDs in Asia too. I don't think my parents are not really happy if we were to buy them online.

I could be wrong about them being out in Europe...But the show did air there so it is possible? I just thought that I heard that...Again now sure. I was really sceptical about buying my DVD's that I bought too! But I just talked to the guy that I bought them from first for a while and asked him a whole bunch of questions. I mean there is always a chance that you could be ripped off, I have been really lucky and just talked to the people alot before and bought from people that I have heard good things about.

You know.. there is a way to have CDR's transferred onto DVDs or something like that. Actually, I have yet to see if the Roswell ones I have play on my DVD or not. Sometimes I've heard the CDRW ones will.

Bunnie - No, they won't, I'm pretty sure about that. YOur CDRWs must be .avis or .mpegs, right? Some DVD players work with SVCDs or VCDs, but those are other formats. Sorry. Kristin - Yeah, it's been aired here, and you priobably would get inofficial copies like yours. But not official ones. We're going to be the scum of the planet yet again and won't get anything. Oh well. I'll just get a DVD player that is compatible with R1 DVDs, and end of story.

Yea..they are more expensive...but you can just get the DVD player that will play all three Regions...I was lucky in that my DVD player plays Burned DVDs and therefore would play the DVDs that I bought...I checked it out first..but some won't...
But at least you can but that kind of DVD player and then get the Region One DVDs...Better then nothing right? Maybe if they sell well here they will expand?

Yeah, but Diane told me the other day that some companies put some kind of added extra that means even some multi-region dvd players won't play foreign dvds. Don't know how true it is, but she sounded pretty certain. We should get them eventually, just don't know when.

Mmmmmm...that is interesting...Wow..I didn't know that. I just lucked out in that my DVD player plays burned DVD...I have a friend that has burned copies of DVD's here and there and they have all played in my DVD player. I am not too knowledgeable in the Region part of it.. That is pretty shitty if true. Especially if the DVD you are trying to get ahold of is not available in your own region.

Because Leanne said that she heard from Diane that even though European DVD players that work with U.S.-DVD codes sometimes do not play American (Region 1) DVDs. That way we can't really do anything here. We're screwed, basically.
