You watched VLV! One of the best S2 eps! Isn't it hilarious?! That last scene's the best though with the Sherif catching them and he says " Tess don't make me come back in there!" She thought she could get away with it

Max and Michael, talkign about 'Crapping Tiger'. A chick flick with kung fu. mmhmm... MY BABY IS DEAD! 2 3 3 Poor Isobel. She wakes up to how great he is, and then she looses him...that's gotta blow the big wad. What's with the burn mark on Alex's seat? Liz, as much as I know you're right (because I already know he was killed...), you stink of being in denial, chick! Just a technical note: Wouldn't Liz going off like that, at a yell, wake the 'rents and Isabel? I like Amy DeLuca. She's a cool woman Liz: All business, and then all softness. I know that feeling... Alien vs human...oh, this is ugly and bad and nasty and sad... Okay, that binary on the credit card receipt, and the cryptic line from the poem...freaky! And it's 1:20am, so I have to wait until after I sleep to watch more. But I don't have to work tomorrow, so more Roswell! YEAH!

Finals were over as of noon last Friday. Watching Roswell is one of my goals over vaction. So is earning money to pay off a debt to my father, writing more of my stories, sleeping late, knitting a lot, and generally being a slacker when all else fails. Where did Liz get the idea Alex was killed by an alien? That seems to have come outa nowhere.

Zook - Good goal for vacation! Can I read some of your stories? I remember Jen pointing out to you that if you payed attention to the storyline in S2, you'd end up lost... I dunno where Liz got the idea either, but then again, I hate watching those late S2 eps (with the notable exception of Departure, of course ), so I wouldn't know cause I don't remember... Anyone?

The writers seem to be stuck in the mode of Beginning High School Fiction Writer. You know, the kind of person who never bothers to give anything a genesis or ending, it just springs fully formed, kind of like Athena from the head of Zeus in Greek mythology. I can accept that the situation with Lori would come out of nowhere with no intro, because it's been establised the Pod Squad are hybreds. But...where is the ending to that? And Liz just coming out of nowhere with the alien thing...stinks of what I did when I first started writing. Then I got a clue and realized you need to lay a foundation for that kind of thing, so that the reader can say, "Yeah, I can see where she might get that idea from the evidence." Even if it's just a vague hint at an idea and seems like a crackheaded idea, there is *something* there, and it will all fall into place later on. I now see what everyone means by really lousy plot lines in S2. On the bright side, I feel better about myself as a writer. I'm not perfect, but at least I know to tie off the ends and lay a foundation, or at least explain where things came from if they spring out of nowhere.

Yeah, I think that's the saddest part about Roswell. I hate most of the shows for the crappy dialogues the have, and there's that Roswelll show with the really outstanding dialogue most of the time, and then you take a closer look and the story line is utter bull****. It's sad.
I was serious about wanting to read your stories BTW. Can I do that somewhere?

Oh I know why Liz thought it was all doings of an alien... it's cuz she knows Alex didn't commit suicide and S2 was when they found out about Kivar and what he meant to Isabel... lemme pull out the quote where she says something to that effect...

Found it! *happy dance*
MICHAEL: What possible reason would an alien have to kill Alex? LIZ: Isabel for one. We know that there's an alien named Khivar who wants to bring Isabel back to your world.

Zook..your right. Liz "knew" it was an alien, because she "knew" Alex wouldn't commit suicide like the police and everyone else seemed to believe. Your just rollin' along now aren't ya!?

Yeah, not that you mention it, how DID she know? Probably cashing in on the moment that Max is vulnerable! Quote: Quote: She thought she could get away with it

For the record, Liz is being a petulent, whiny little girl about the whole Alex thing. She ignores her friends, snaps their heads off, uses Sean, and...I'm supposed to feel for her? Not a chance. I feel for Maria. I can understand Isabel's running away. But Liz can go take flying leap. And Max looking to Tess? Totally understandable, and it's about time the boy moved on! Oookayyyy...Liz is now certifiably obsessed. Going to Europe! Max, get OFF the thing about Isabel staying in NM already! AUGH! I am most gratified to see that Michael and Maria are business as usual. It's nice to see some normalicy in this insanity. And that whole "I can give you now" speech was so sweet. What a great guy! And Tess takes advantage of Max's pain... Oh, nasty! They're going at it in the planetarium! Alex never went to Sweden...curious

Okay, finished S2. Gee, Tess is leaving. About time, chick! Fly, fly far away and go back to Kivar! witch... Michael rocks. I love that guy! Okay, so he's not as good looking as Alex, but I can definitely see why Maria puts up with him. When the chips are down, he's totally there and he's a great guy. I mean, the dinner he made...that was just *so wonderful*. And he chose to stay! It's late, I'm tired, I actually have to get up in the morning. So I'm going to bed.

So S2's over for you huh. Aw man now onto the wonderful season that is S3. You gotta be even more patient from here on out cuz sometimes things get really bad and looked rushed because every loose end is trying to be tied. It has its moments though.

I actually didn't mind season 3. Anything was better than what they did to Max and Liz in S2. Things are rushed a little because of the end of the series. But it was nice to see some attempt to "kind of" (using that phrase lightly) fix what was messed up from S2.

Okay, S3 starts. Max has a car? Man, I'd love to have parents that just buy me a new car. But with a corporate lawyer for a dad, I suppose that can happen. And what happened to that whole Leanna chick thing? The dangling ends are starting to look like a forest of vines here!

Trust Michael to turn a perfectly orderly work environment into a den of sin and vice. And the best stinkin' reason to want to work the night shift in a long, long time! Only Michael...what a smartass! Terry O'Quinn, of Director Kendall fame from 'Alias', is playing the Head Honcho at the pharmaceutical firm where Michael is a security guard. He has a mustache here, and his hair isn't as grey, but it's definitely AD Kendall. FIRED?!? Dude! And Maria drinks of the Snapple after ragging on Michael about taking it. "My day's never truly complete until I've been threatened by an alien." Kyle's a good guy. Sensitive, underneath that football jock exterior. Michael, finding ways to pass the buck to Steve. Michael, breaking in to return the Snapple. And what gives with that Carl guy?
