Yeah, it's kind of less work getting the charcoal to produce shadows than to do it with pencil. But I can't handle charcoal. I make a huge mess out of the drawings. I might try a Michael in charcoal though, just to see what comes out...let's see...

My best friend, who I affectionately call the Costume Fairy, is a wicked good artist and has been designing (once in a while) gowns for characters in my stories to wear. When I get the next sketch from her, I will post them for you when I get them scanned in. I only don't have a scanner. Anyone here willing to be a peach and help me out? Only in figuring out where to mail the drawings, and getting them sent back. But it would be cheaper (and faster) to have it done domestic. lol

Oh Zook~ you know I'd jump at the chance of lending a hand- (actually, I'd love to see these sketches  ) but figuring the time it would take to send them to me and me back to you- it's bad timing. Seeing as how I have boxes starting to pile up in my dining room. Maybe after the move?

By the time I have both sketches, it'll be after your move, no question.
OH! By that time, I may also have some pics I need scanned in. And while that's on the table, I'll make the offer to all the LotR fans. Viggo/Aragorn lived in my area for a while, graduated HS up here, and attended college not too far north. I at least plan to take pics of the HS and some stuff around the area. I have interest from elsewhere, so I have plans to get them scanned in. If you're interested, I'll email pics to ya. I'm going to see if I can find his yearbook photo and make a copy to get scanned in, too.

Yeah, Viggo lived with his mom in my area when he was in high school. I'll dig up some links to pics of the area and whatnot. It's really quite gorgeous when it's not covered in two feet of snow *G*

Sounds like a plan.
I need to get my camera back before I can take any pics, and the phone number I had to the girl who has my camera is disconnected, with no further information, so I have to hope I can find her on campus. *crosses fingers* THEN I can start taking pics of the high school and Viggo's alma mater to the north of me.

Good luck with the camera issue Zook, not just because I can't wait to see pics of yours and Viggo's (ex-) area, but because I hate it when I lend things to people and they don't even bother giving it back (that's what it sounds like in your case at least).
