Err..gotta fully agree with Dreambehr...first off, it's wonderful that Roswell does attract all kinds of age-groups, and then it's amazing how much time you guys have to keep things like this board going (and it's going so well!). I mean, I'm only a student (and students here in Germany are constantly being harrassed for not working or studying at all) and i'm constantly complaining about my lack of time...

LoL Dreambehr. Also are we letting our age show? :0)
The thing with kids and time is that it only gets worse when you have kids. They come into your lives and until they are like 5 or 6. You have NO time. But then school starts and you are then blessed with all the time in the world. LOL
Hence the crazy mom sydrome becuase you have to fill it with something. Why not Roswell. :0)

cyane- that's a nice way to fill up free time...I've just started wondering though what show I will be obsessing about when I have kids. Looks like I'm gonna have a problem there...no more Roswell! :cry After all, I like Smallville and I kinda love Dawson's Creek, but Roswell rocks my world!

Alienstalker: Yes let's hope that when you have kids there will be a new genre of entertainment along Roswells lines. Maybe even a remake. Just think in about 5-10 years us roswellians will be called a cult following.

Just a thought.

cyane32- Actually, you guys totally don't sound like adults, much less mums. Must be young at heart, I suppose. That's why I was totally surprised to find out you guys were mums.

Anyway, I hope that there would be a show I'll obsess about in ten years, but I doubt anything will touch me the way Roswell has. Gee, I sound so sad . . .

Well?! Who says we are all that old? :dunno I mean heavens I'm not even 30 yet. :shake See, I figured have the kids before 30 and then I can ship them out the door by 50 and then I can go travel the world. :grin Wishful thinking anyway. :lol OH and don't worry I still get carded for drinks:drink :drink oh and then one time they looked at my license and refused to serve me because they said it was fake. LMAO. They even made me leave. :shake :shake Awww. the element of surprise. :drink

Welcome to FD Surease! :wavey

Yeah, I still have 2 years left of school. I "technically" should of graduated about 4 years ago. Oops! My bad! And hey...I'm not old either! We decided at work today that being mean to people keeps you looking young (our boss is evil and 57 and doesn't look it) anyway...I said..."Hell, I'll be looking this young forever than cause I'm mean to everyone!" Lol

Jen, I can totally relate about the ID thing. I had someone a couple years back card me for a rated R movie! You have to be what 17/18 for that? I was 25! I was WAY older than the kid that carded me...he was probably 16! :lol

If over twenty is old, then I'm old, too...:( Dreambehr, I envy you...
Then again, they permanently ask for my ID, too..last New Year's Eve I went to a party and they wouldn't let me in (you had to be at least 18 - hell, I was 22!) without checking my license while the other people that were with me were 18/19 and no one had to show any sort of ID! But actually this only means that when they are like way over 40 and old and wasted, I'll still be looking young and fresh (without having to rely on anti-age products).
Since you guys are also frequently mistaken for being younger than you actually are, I have to come up with a new theory that just hit me:

Roswell keeps people young! Isn't that great...;)

:love your theory, Stalker! Sounds like a good one to me.
Dreambehr...:lol don't worry, I wasn't upset about being called old! :cry :cry :cry Nah, I'm kidding. I don't think I'm old. I'm just good! :)

That's the worst being carded for the R movie. That happened to me once or twice too I believe. But I never could get over the drink thing. I mean the guy was like I'm going to call the cops if you don't leave and I was like go ahead they will tell you it's a real license. :lol :lol Agh. The aggreviation. :mad I was like 5 years over the freaking age limits. Jeeezzz...

Oh and I was just playing. I mean hey all us Roswell fans are young at heart. :grin :grin And trust me even though I am only in my twenties, once you have a kid and start sounding like your own mom, you begin to feel very old very fast.:shake :shake :lol :lol

Cyane,
I uploaded some of your transcripts here: thesmudge.com/shapeshifter/transcripts/
I am asking for permission to share the links (oops, I guess I just did share 'em, oh well, I'll delete this post if you want me to do so).
Oh, and I went a little anal and edited Graduation (it had a few typos).
You can let me know if it's okay to link to them from my site ( Roswell Mythology Theory Archives) at my throw-away address:
seasononeroswell@yahoo.com
BTW, I'm old enough to be a grandma. That's older'n dirt, baby! LOL

And this really cute emoticon:
:groupwave
reminds me of hitchhiking with some folks in the middle of the desert (somewhere near Roswell) in the early 1970's. We were really bored, so we started group-waving the cars that went by. LOL

Yeah, I'm finally back. Had a major exam just now. Anyway, I agree with Alien Stalker. You guys are still so young. Anyway, I'm going to turn 18 in November but I've never tried to get into any club, so I don't have that problem like you guys.

I haven't seen Cyane around in a day or so; but I'm sure she probably wouldn't mind. Maybe she'll come around today or tomorrow as I really shouldn't answer for her. :dunno

So you live out by Roswell? Or did? Are we speaking of the set or no? If so, did you ever go to a filming? :dunno
