Max is getting sucked into the collective conciousness for the last couple of books and slowly becomeing a more and more yucky person.. he is being real mean to liz... rara... blah blah... thick max end of season two... occasionlly he comes out of his strange state and wonders what is going on...

so everyone decides that they have to do something about max cauz he's so out of it...

michaels brother helps them find out what is happening to max, then in the last book, the all join together in a huge connection, and with the help of some alien devices, manage to free max from the conciousness... they all admit their love for their respective partners... maria and michael, max and liz... not alex and izzy though... (not that i remember anyway) kyle gets committed, can't remember what happens to sherrif (remember he's evil..) izzie is in love with one of the other aliens...
