Cory I think you're right. I was just thinking about it and I realised that Shiri did an interview just before Graduation aired and she said that her character lost her virginity in the finale and lots of people got upset by that. I know you'll be happy, Cory! I would have felt a little ill if Liz slept with Sean but Max and Tess is a thousand times worse in my opinion at least.

Cory's having nice attacks of maturity right there. Very refreshing. Quote: Quote: The writer's are smoking again Oh my, how I *love+ these little Angel comments in the middle of a serious discussion...

No idea about that, Angel. We don't get the new season over here. Some great TV channels we have over here, huh? With the exception of Roswell of course.

I read on a site (antarians.com) that a two-hour season finale was filmed for season 2 but the WB only gave it the hour time slot.
It also said they filmed a two-hour season three finale where Max and Liz 'cement' their relationship (I would have loved to see that bit!) after he proposes but UPN only gave it an hour ! It would have been a good way to end the series with a two hour finale but damn UPN!

Stupid UPN! They couldn't even give us that after cancelling our show, no less.
Roswellian 2002- I see that you're a Dreamer too! Hope you'll go vote for them at the Roswell Survivor game.

This is just me ranting. Ignore it.
You know what I don't get? Why the hell people didn't watch the damn show more! Seriously, why didn't people watch it during the first season? We wouldn't have had any problems if more watched it, and for awhile I thought a lot of people watched it too considering how many ezboards and message boards and websites are dedicated to this thing. Maybe JK woulda been inspired not to smoke whatever he did if the show wasn't in danger so much (highly doubt it, but I can dream).

I want to rant too. Who in the world are these people who didn't watch Season 1? Maybe I understand why they wouldn't want to watch the other seasons but Season 1? Like HELLO?! Don't you know a one-of-a-kind show when you see one?

Yup I know, but the ratings weren't really great even with S1 and S1 was really, really good. Stupid people.

You know.. I have no idea on that one. I would love to know too. I bet it gets canceled this year. And as much as I personally loved Season one to pieces and wouldn't want it any other way-- what I *think* happened is this. They started it off really strong. Strong sexual vibes-- that alot of these other "hit" TV shows don't have. So it becomes a "mature- mature audience" thus limiting a broader (shall I say younger?) audience and/or even an (older audience for that matter) as many would rather watch storyline type shows than *just a bunch of kids making out* Of course I have no complaints on the first season- and I think they totally screwed themselves on season two trying to change the show *too much* and leaving all sorts of crazy storylines out there to never be solved. *bad writing* and Season three was just obvious. Everyone hated Max by that point and No one wanted to watch an hour of Isabore on the screen. Hence, a canceled show.

I found Season 2 not too bad actually except for the last few (which they may as well have drove a stake through my heart by showing). Busted made me feel a little uneasy though.

The whole thing with Liz suddenly going from good girl to bad girl, with no explanation other than her attraction to Max, turned me off. I mean, she's suddenly willing to do the illegal with no regrets? You don't just *suddenly* make that change! They never explained it, except for the thing about helping Max to find his son, but stil...you don't make that much of a personality change overnight. And I found her annoying that she'd risk ruining her whole like for Max. Yeah, love is grand, but you need to draw the line somewhere, and Liz was willing to sit in prision for years. That seems to fall into the realm of 'Girl, you need a life' and 'Unhealthy dependance'. And Max never seemed to 'get it'. He was all whiny and moody and self-centered about his quest, and only gave passing glance to anyone else. Michael and Maria were better. At least they admitted they were dysfunctional. And I'm going to go againt the grain here (what else is new? ) and say I really liked Isabel and Jesse . They seemed the most real and well-adjusted of the three couples. Maybe she did get too much screen time, but I liked them most of all. Yeah, they stared in a cloud of lust, but I think the way it played out wasn't half bad. But that's just me. I am glad Alex didn't hook up with Isabel, because she would have totally taken him for granted and used him, and he'd have let her walk all over him.

I agree that Liz let him off the hook way too easily but what can I say, I'm a hopeless Dreamer. Heard that Thanie St John originally wanted Tess as Michael's sister, NOT Max's wife. That would have been better I think but JK had to kick her out and put in his own horrible plotlines.
