No, they didn't look good together at all. Max and Liz looked like they were meant to be together. Dark hair...I don't know what it was exactly...they were just perfect together.

I like to think that Max was responsible for his own actions when he got involved with Tess, but you never know...
But seriously: apart from Tess being evil and mind-warping and stuff, I still think that it's entirely Max's fault that things were over between him and Liz. He can't blame Tess fro everything. I know there are a lot of Trash-haters around, and I hated her for killing Alex, but I did not hate her for breaking up Max and Liz. That's something that was entirely Max's fault. *ducks*

No, Max can't blame everything on Tess. The breakup was partly because of Liz wanting to stay away from him because of the destiny crap, the fact that he thought Liz slept with Kyle, and because he was a total bonehead. I think he wasn't exactly thinking with his head with Tess around. Get what I mean?

Cory, I totally agree. The Liz/Kyle thing really screwed Max up.
As much as I hate Max and Tess together (and I hate them a LOT), I understand why he was drawn to her. Max tried to get back with Liz so many times and every time he failed though I definitely don't blame Liz for that. And every time he was especially vulnerable, little puppy dog Tess was there to pick up the pieces. And she was the only one to stand by him, while the rest were put off by his horrible behaviour. I mean his sister and the girl he loves were mad at him. I'm DEFINITELY not saying that they are at fault nor am I justifying his incredibly stupid decision to sleep with Tess but this is my rationale of him going for Tess. Sorry if I don't make much sense.

I'm glad you got my meaning. I sort of thought my explanation was confusing. But it was sad, watching Max's face fall everytime Liz said that she slept with Kyle.
