I'm not sure either, but I know that was when the show really turned to shit, IMO. It's just so hard to go back, once you've already witnessed such crap.

Ok...I am totally blocking that scene out of my memory! I honestly can't recall it...I'd go watch those last episodes of S2, but I honestly can't handle that! If it was Liz...I'd be searching every episode, but then again...anything with her and Max I recall...just not Max and Trash!

I wholeheartedly agree with the group that Tess was one of those people that you want to strangle. And in Max's defense she did mind warp him an awful lot as we have recently found out. As she said she knew him and that gave her an edge. As to whether she was evil. That is something I am not sure of. In the end she did the right thing. She killed Alex yes. But did she really mean to, I'm unsure? I think it just happened. Regardless of that fact it was done and she deserved what she got. She made some really bad choices but no one is to blame but herself.
Just my humble opinion. :0)

As for Emilie. I really don't know anyone who has met her but when I watched an interview with her recently I found her to be a really sweet person. I would really like to see some more of her in a role that we could actually enjoy. I mean didn't she play an evil role in Beastmaster too?

Yes, she played a demon on Beastmaster. At the time, I thought the way she spoke and acted was part of the demony character she was playing. But she played Tess pretty much the same way, and it didn't suit that character. I actually thought she was alright on Beastmaster. I think that, on Roswell, they could have used the fact that EdR is not from the US. It would make sense that Tess may have grown up in another country, since Nasedo was dragging her around to avoid being caught. I think people in the US tend to like accents and speaking in her normal voice may have endeared her to more people, as well as just making sense for the character. I just had real issues with the way she spoke. I know that doesn't make the character evil, but it made her more irritating to someone who already didn't like her.

Cyane...I loved Jason's accent in The Shipping News. Like him, I'm from Minnesota, so the accent is not too awful hard to catch onto. Unlike if you were from down south, I think they'd have a harder time getting the Northern accent! I don't know about the american/canadian accent being hard to learn...I know english is one of the hardest languages to learn, so maybe speaking like us is too!

I haven't watched ITLAITB yet! I know I'll not be able to get the mental picture of them out of my head! It's so gross in my opinion and I feel comfortable saying it here since I know almost everyone feels the same way! Max belongs with Liz forever and definitely not with Tess! Someone please bring me a barf bag for that episode. I'm gonna try to block the image out. Fortunately, the channel showing it would probably censor it anyway!

I've kinda went thru various stages of Tess liking.

When she first arrived I hated her!
When Kyle and her nearly had a thing going, i thought she was great.
When She and Max got together, I DESPISED her!
In 3 (or4) Aliens and a baby, I thought she was great! Fair enough, she didn't have to kill all those ppl or lye to Max about being connected to Zan, ok my dislike is slightly increasing now that I think bout it properly...I suppose she was only trying to protect Zan...bt she wouldn't have needed to if she had kept her legs and and arms and eyes and everything else about her closed!
But she ended heroine-like, saving them all, well until the finale cos she was the cause of the video of Isabel going into FBI hands!

OK, i hate Tess! I've definitley decided now!
