UPCOMING SEASON
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As you already know the new season starts October 2nd at
8pm on The WB with a two hour season premiere. Here are
the episode descriptions for back to back episodes 601
and 602.
The Kids Are Alright/The Song Remains the Same
Dawson returns to Boston after working as an assistant
director in Los Angeles over the summer and reunites with
Joey who has spent a relatively angst-free summer in
Capeside. Their reunion leads to an evening of truth and
intimacy, which is ruined when Dawson receives a phone
call from another woman. Meanwhile, Audrey and Pacey
return from L.A. with a surprise passenger, Audrey's
childhood friend Jack Osborne (guest-starring as himself),
and Pacey gets a job interview that could change his life.
Sparks fly between Jen and CJ (guest star Jensen Ackles,
"Days of Our Lives"), a handsome new peer counselor she
meets at school.
The first hour was directed by Greg Prange and written
by Tom Kapinos. The second hour was directed by Robbie
McNeill and written by Gina Fattore.
FUN FACTS
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This week Paul Stupin unveiled to everyone our new opening
title sequence! I think you're all gonna love it.
The biggest differences are of course the additions of Busy
(whose sequence is very adorable, including one shot where
she gives a little wink), and lots of great exteriors of
Boston. Also added was a very subtle ripple effect to
the opening shot gliding over the water. For all you
old schoolers there are still a few shots left from the
old title sequence including Joey and Dawson walking
together under the rain. Only nine more days until
you get to see it for yourselves!

LINES TO REMEMBER
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lines from the Script of Episode
#520 "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)":
AUDREY: Could he be any cuter?
JOEY: No, but he could be more in tune.
AUDREY: Come on. This is so romantic. It's like that movie,
it's like you make him want to be a better man.
JOEY: Yeah, but wouldn't it be better for society if I made
him want to be a better guitar player?
AUDREY: It's official. You are the queen of negativity.
There'll be a crowning ceremony later in the day.
----
PACEY: Ladies, ladies. There's no need for violence.
Plenty of me to go around. So if you two could just -
uh, ow.
DC TRIVIA FAN OF THE WEEK
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Last week Corrie asked the trivia question: "In episode
503, at the beginning of Jen and Charlie's relationship,
what does Jen say is the only thing she really she knows
about Charlie?"

Congrats to Emily who was the first to correctly answer:
"Hey Jason. Jen tells Joey and Audrey that the only
thing she really knows about Charlie is that he wears
boxers from the Gap."

Congratulations Emily, you are the "DC Trivia Fan of the
Week!" This week's question comes from Karolina who asks:
"In season 4 final episode #423 Coda what was the name of
the laptop that Mitch relentlessly wanted to buy Dawson?"

Great question Karolina. It's definitely a toughie.
A reminder to all you fanatics out there to make sure
to write in with your own trivia suggestions and next
week we might pick yours! Good luck!
