After April of this year, Wilmington, NC will no longer be the place where so many fans travel to yearly to see their favorite DC stars filming the show, having coffee in a downtown java house, or even passing them unexpectedly on the sidewalks of historic downtown Wilmington. In April of this year, Dawson Creek ends. For good. And sadly, the cast will not be going on a mere vacation this year when packing up and leaving for the summer, but they will be leaving this part of their lives behind forever. And a fan will not be able to come to this nautical place carrying that thrill of stardom as they normally have as this crew will be long gone come May.
Anyone who knows a bit about the city knows that movies as well as TV shows come and go in the studios there sometimes known as "Hollywood East". But I think many would agree that there's not quite been a show like "Dawson's Creek" and probably never will be. Once its over, its stars will be spread abroad and its unlikely that we'll ever see them all in one place again.

Attention all Dawson's Creek fans! Registration for the
Dawson's Creek Finale Spring Fling in Wilmington, North Carolina this March is now OPEN! The "Spring Fling" will take place at the
Hilton Riverside in Wilmington from
March 19-23. It will celebrate what has been 6 seasons of the show we all know and love - Dawson's Creek! Here you'll be able to meet and hang out with other fans of the show, along with cast, crew and production members! Currently tentatively scheduled to attend the event are Dawson's Creek regular Busy Philipps and Dawson's Creek recording artist Mary Beth Maziarz ("Daydream Believer"), who will headline a charity dinner on the night of Saturday, March 22nd. *Also, all main cast members are currently in negotiation and will most likely attend as well!* Basic tickets to the event are $100 US and premium tickets are $175 US. This price is your basic admission so that you can attend any of the events over the course of the 5-day event.
