I have seen that some people have given up on everything that DC gave them. I could say that I am one of them, but I don't really want to be that bitter about it. The truth of the matter is, I have been an avid fan of the show since the first episode, but I was never really a fanatic until I found the old official boards. Hell, I didn't even know that there was such a thing as a P/Jer till I went there. I just assumed that everyone rooted for D/J. And, even though I know how it ends now, I wouldn't take this time back for anything. I have made some really great things. And even though I know that what you go through makes you who you are, I guess this experience has just reinforced that. I don't think I would be so addicted to the net if I didn't make friends on all of the message boards.

See...it's the same for me. However, it was Roswell that did it for me. If it wasn't for Roswell, I never would of found FD. Amazing what can happen, huh?

Question: Why would the official DC boards be on Sony?
I mean wouldn't the official boards be on the WB?

Roswell: Damn, what a long journey it's been. If one looks back far enough, it's almost scary.

I could be wrong on this.. but I think Sony came along after DC had been on the air a few years. They took control over the message boards at dawsonscreek.com. Eve stayed on as 'Hostess with the Mostess'

Last summer, they announced they didn't have the money to keep a bunch of things anymore on the site. Go figure! In Sept, the boards were closed down. That was one of the saddest days of my life.

The WB.com has a community message board. In fact, that is where Sony wanted to send everyone. About 99% of those who were regulars at the dc.com boards, didn't like the wb.com boards. (Am I still making sense? ) So we just kinds created our own on ezboard. The former host, eve, comes to our site which is awesome.. cuz she fills us in on whats happening with DC. (auction, dvd's, ect).

I miss the old boards, thats where I met most of my online pals. I know I wouldn't be anywhere close to this addicted if it weren't for those buddies. I'm glad that everyone just kinda migrated over.. and our family has grown.
