VALKYRIE: Who is the leading ad-libber on the show?

JASON: Well Valkyrie, sometimes while watching dailies it seems like the whole show has been ad-libbed. Just kidding. But I asked Gina Fattore who espoused that in her opinion Josh and Michelle ad-lib the most and Katie ad-libs the least. Make of that what you will.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just thought this was interesting...especially in light of our knowledge of what lines Katie ad-libbed in some key scenes last year. Hmmmm...the mouthed "I love you" in "Te of Pacey" and the "sweetheart" and "my love" in "A Winter's Tale." She may use her ad-libs sparingly, but it appears she chooses them well

Yeah, I can see Josh adlibbing alot...Michelle...kind of surprises me though. But I love that when Katie did adilb...it was when she said those beautiful lines to Josh.

It's so hard for me to be mad at her when she says things like that. They try to make people dislike Joey so much with all the Dawson crap last season, but we know who her loyalty stands with. I can excuse it because I know she would rather be with Pacey. I found an article from season 4.

Were you happy that your character sort of dumped Dawson for Pacey?
KH: Well, you know... it's exciting. I mean, Dawson just wasn't paying enough attention to Joey, and I think Pacey and Joey have a lot in common. It's been really fun. -- Rosie O'Donnell Show

Do you think that Dawson and Joey are soulmates?
KH: Umm, I think Dawson and Joey are two kids who grew up obviously next door to each other and know each other so well that they are probably making-- a presumption that they are soulmates, but they have a lot of life to live before they actually meet their soulmate. But I think they have something so sweet and so innocent and so untouchable. Such a wonderful bond. That it's so special in its own way, but I don't necessarily think that they are soulmates.

Has Joey made the right choice?
KH: Yes, I do think she made the right choice, I mean, I thought it was a great development between the two characters last year, because when you first met them, they kinda almost hated each other. They were so harsh...

JJ: I never hated you.

KH: (smiles) Underneath it all, they were starting to fall in love early on. And then last year, Pacey was such a good friend and the one that helped her out with the B&B, and all of her artistic endeavours and really believed in her. And I think she was finally honest with her feelings. And I think it's a good thing. -- thewb.com Interview, Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson

Here's soap opera weekly take on the hellmates doing it and compare it to their take on Joey and Pacey doing it.

October, 2002:
Excerpt from Soap Opera Weekly, "Hit or Miss" column:
Miss... Anticlimactic first time on Dawson's
A show's signature couple-- Dawson and Joey of Dawson's Creek-- makes love for the first time after five seasons of waiting, and all viewers get are a few fully clothed, chaste kisses and a fade-out?
Nobody expected porn, but the scene could have been more sensual or at least romantic. Even lamer: Dawson and Joey had some realistic, touching scenes before and after The Big Moment. There was plausible tension as Joey addressed her lack of contact with Dawson this summer and recounted a favorite shared memory. Then they touched. After an uncomfortably long embrace, they kissed for a minute or so (not one garment came off) and fell back on the bed as the show went to commercial.

Joey's first time with Pacey during Season 4 was much better. Maybe it's good that this new episode didn't

A night to remember on Dawson's
from Soap Opera Weekly
February 2001

There are a few episodes of Dawson's Creek that stand out as classics. The group detention that introduced Abby Morgan in the first season and the gang's all-night study session in Season Two inmmediately come to mind. Add to that list the Feb. 7, 2001 show. The episode was stellar across the board - featuring a more mature Dawson than we've ever seen, and an intriguing development for Jack and Jen - but the marquee attraction was Pacey and Joey's first time. It lived up to its billing.

Prior to their lovemaking, Pacey and Joey's feelings were eloquently stated. Pacey had understandable concerns about Dawson's place in Joey's heart. He expressed those concerns as reasonably as a teen-age guy who'd been held off for months could be expected to. Joey's fears about sleeping with Pacey had just as much to do with Dawson as they did with the simple fact that it was her first time. Joey explained that yes, Dawson will always hold a place in her heart. What she went on to say, though, in a speech that defined the scene and their relationship, was that she chose to make love to PACEY. HE was the man buying the popcorn at the movies. HE was the one attentive to her needs. HE was the man she chose to be with NOW. The couple slowly began to disrobe and kiss, and at that moment, their genuine young love for each other was captured romantically and poignantly. Fade to black. We didn't need to see everything; a wonderful script and two great performances said it all.

#6, Katie Holmes & Joshua Jackson
We've watched their slow-burning romance on the small screen for years on Dawson's Creek. Katie Holmes quickly distinguished herself in the teen series as the streetwise Joey, who found herself in a love triangle with best friends Dawson and Pacey. As a couple, the two were impossibly cute together and somewhere deep in our hearts we knew they were a better match than Dawson and Joey could ever be. Even though it seems that things are over between Joey and Pacey, we hope it's just a temporary situation... and that love will bloom once more.

Look who they beat for best couple.

March 13, 2001 - Seventeen recently ran a poll where Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were overtaken as the Hottest Couple by Joey and Pacey from TV's Dawson's Creek

Last time, I checked they weren't even real.

There is no comparison between the DJ sex scene and the PJ one. Trust me.

Here's something else I found.
Josh Jackson Q&A
*TeenMag.com - March 2000*

What can I tell you about Joshua Jackson that you don't already know? That he's smart and sweet and funny? That he has a unique charm that's a mix of self-confidence, a bit of cockiness, but with some shyness thrown in too?

And that he laughs a lot, he's super friendly and even better looking in person? Well, he is all that, and, as you'll see from the one-on-one we had with Josh earlier this month in New York, our very well-versed guy has a lot to say on a variety of topics.

Let's jump in...

Teenmag.com: Hi Josh! Well, first of all, let me tell you that I saw the movie last night and I loved it!

JJ: Thanks! (Laughing). That's a good way to start!

Teenmag.com: I also have to tell you that I'm a Dawson's Creek fan, and the episode with Pacey and Jonathan Lipnicki (from "Jerry Maguire") was excellent. Especially your scenes with Jonathan.

JJ: (Laughing) Thanks a lot. So, before we get into the whole business of "The Skulls," let me ask YOU a question... which side of the fence do you fall on in the Pacey/Joey debate?

Teenmag.com: Oh, TOTALLY pro Pacey and Joey! What about you?

JJ: Oh, I'm pro Joey and Pacey too, but (the writers) can't make up their minds right now whether they want to have Joey and Pacey get together or get Joey back with Dawson... so I'm lobbying for the pro-Pacey side.

Teenmag.com: Absolutely. Cast our vote for that side!

JJ: Cool!

At least, he admits it. Katie just implies it. The DJer's had such a field day when Katie picked her favorite moment with Josh. She obviously is or was a closet PJer. Who does she adlib for? Not only did she adlib for him, but she uses the word "love." I just don't think it was neccessary. I went back to reading season 4 transcripts and there were many times that Joey and Pacey said they loved each other.

This is what someone said.
ShiningBright always picks out the best Anna & Jason letters to post. I also took note that they said Katie was least likely to ad-lib and think that her season four ad-libs, especially the "I love you" in The Te of Pacey, were her way of saying f@%* off to TPTB. If they refused to give her a script in which Joey says "I love you" to Pacey, then she'd write her own version

On another note, someone was so mad when I posted that gossip from March 2001. She said that it wasn't possible. Was she there? I got in a fight with her, but then decided to forget it.

"This is probably the last season, and I'm trying to enjoy every last minute. I don't know how it's going to end, but I told the writers, no wedding between Dawson and Joey! It should be bittersweet, which would be true to the show."

I like that she doesn't say she doesn't want a Pacey and Joey wedding. Hee

Busy, who plays Audrey wanted a Pacey and Audrey wedding. Listen to this article. I didn't know she said DJ too.

What's down the line for Busy? Nothing's set in stone, but if this alluring and completely entertaining young talent gets her way, wedding bells could be ringing by the time "Dawson's Creek" ends.

I read somewhere, i can't remember where though, that Katie visited Josh on the set of one of his movies awhile back for oh how should we say NOOKIE!

and oh, before i forget, MERCI - that interview u were refering to earlier in the post, where katie indirectly showed her preference--its on the CONAN O'BRIEN Show, where he played a trick on both katie's and jvdb's faces and superimposed the two and the result looks like an extrtadited alien from the planet x---that's when she said its a good thing she chose pacey--he-he-he...

Conan: In adition to such films as Cruel Intentions and The Skulls, my next guest one of the stars of Dawson´s Creek, which will air it´s season finale tomorrow night on the WB, please welcome Joshua Jackson.

*Josh comes out and waves to the audience before shaking hands and sitting down next to Conan.*

Conan: Very nice to have you here.
Josh: Thank you for having me back.

Conan: You know this show Dawson´s Creek, young people just love this show, but now you got this situation to figure out, is this show going to go on like, you know like 90210, it went on for a looong time, (Josh laughs), and in the later seasons they were like “Dylan come back”
Josh says something in a funny voice that sounds like “I´ll get you Joey”. They laugh.

Conan: So that thing were it´s great it´s successful, how many more seasons do you think?
Josh: Ah, truthfully I think next season might actually be our last season, because we are getting to be the visdom (?) old men of the WB, 23 they put you on departure (makes a little face)

Cris Judd Steps Out with Rosario

As Jennifer Lopez announced her engagement to Hollywood hunk Ben Affleck, her estranged husband Cris Judd has been spotted stepping out with sexy actress Rosario Dawson. Dawson, 23, who was reportedly poised to marry Dawson's Creek star Joshua Jackson before admitting that she's "a little commitment phobic," was seen on the arm of dancer Judd, 33, at the new Hollywood hot-spot Ivar on November 13. A source tells American magazine Us Weekly, "They were hugging and kissing, and Cris even bought her a red rose from one of the vendors inside. They left together in Cris' black Mercedes." The two were seen together again three days later in Las Vegas, first at the Zino Platinum cigar after-party hosted by Naomi Campbell's new PR company, and later at the one-year anniversary party for the Palms Casino Resort.

I don't know if I posted this already, but it is too funny.
Meet The Press
from thewb.com - March 2001

For quite some time a debate has raged among Dawson's Creek fans. Should Joey be with Pacey or Dawson? It seems like everyone has an opinion on this stormy love triangle. When Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson sat down to answer the questions everyone is asking, their feelings proved to be just as strong as their fans' on the issues facing their Capeside characters.

Who will Joey choose?

Katie: Well, I just want to, you know, keep them both wanting.

Josh: Exactly. Just keep all them doors open, you know. She doesn't want to make any choices at this time.

Katie: Yeah. No, we did go on our three month cruise and now it's...

Josh: Help a brother out. Come on now.

Katie: What? No, we do have to deal with the fact that Dawson is in Capeside and so are we and we do want to make it somewhat comfortable and he is my best friend, so it's very awkward in the first couple of moments of being back and we're trying to understand what it means to be a couple. And so I don't think I like Dawson anymore. I really don't. Maybe part of me. (she laughs)

Has Dawson lost his shot at Joey?

Katie: Well... she's pretty in love with Pacey (Josh makes that universal sign for YES! with his fist) and uh, you know they spent three months together on a cruise. (she looks at Josh) Well, not a cruise. A yacht. A little boat all summer. (she laughs)

Josh: Thanks, you know. I worked hard on that boat. I go from cruise, to yacht, to dingy in three easy strokes. You know this little riff raff raft he put together.

Katie: (laughing) Blow up raft. Umm, and so I think she's in love and she still wants to have her friendship with Dawson. You know, it's a very tricky thing. How do you kinda keep 18 years of friendship with somebody... (Josh leans over to whisper in her ear)

Josh: (whispering) You're not 18 years old on the show.

Katie: I mean 17. (she throws her hands down in exasperation) Josh!

Josh: Just putting that out there.

Katie: 17 years of friendship. Fit that in with a new relationship.

Josh: I don't even you've had your birthday yet this year so you're probably 16...

Katie: No, I'm 17.

Does Katie believe in soulmates?

Katie: Do I believe in soulmates? Uh...

Woman: There's a followup question just to warn you.

Katie: Okay. Well... Mmm, I don't know. Because I'm 21. I think I have a lot of...

Josh: Soulmates left to go? (he laughs)

Katie: Well I have a lot of learning left to do. No, I mean, yeah. Sometimes I... Yeah, I guess I do. I think I do. I don't know, such as naiveity.

Josh: I don't know.

Woman: Do you think that Dawson and Joey are soulmates?

Katie: Umm, I think Dawson and Joey are two kids who grew up obviously next door to each other and know each other so well that they are probably making... presumption that they are soulmates, but they have a lot of life to live before they actually meet their soulmate. (Josh looks at Katie and moves his hand back and forth between them, indicating him and her/Pacey and Joey - but she doesn't notice) But I think they have something so sweet and so innocent and so untouchable... such a wonderful bond. That it's so special in it's own way, but I don't necessarily think that they are soulmates. Is that wrong?

Josh: I have no problem with that.

Katie: (laughing) Are the writers going to kill me now?

Josh: We are putting it out to the panel - 'Is that wrong?!'. No, it seems to be okay.

Has Joey made the right choice?

Katie: Umm...

Josh: Considering for a second that you are going to have to work with me for the rest of the season and I'm sitting here to hear the answer. But don't let that influence you in any way.

Katie: Yes, I do think she made the right choice, I mean, I thought it was a great development between the two characters last year, because when you first met them, they kinda almost hated each other - they were so harsh...

Josh: (in a cute voice) I never hated you.

Katie: (smiling) ...underneath it all, they were starting to fall in love early on. And then last year Pacey was such a good friend (at this point, Josh has stuck the top part of his hand inside his shirt, like between the button holes and is tapping, like the beat of his heart. Katie takes his hand and pulls it down between them, and they actually hold hands for a second, but his shoe is blocking the camera - cause his foot is resting up on his knee. He eventually lets go after about 5 seconds.) and the one that helped her out with the B&B and all of her artistic endeavors and really believed in her. And I think she was finally honest with her feelings. And I think it's a good thing.

Josh: And what did those feelings say?

Katie: Go for Pacey.

Josh: Yeah! Good feelings!

Are Joey and Pacey a good match?:

Katie: And, uhh... Pacey and Joey are kinda, uhh, dealing with the fact that they have a relationship back in Capeside and they're not just in this bubble of love anymore. They kinda have to deal with the fact that...

Josh: I'm still in the bubble of love.

Katie: Yeah, but Dawson's watching us now.

Josh: I'm in my little love bubble.

Katie: Oh God. (Josh gives this HILARIOUS laugh, Katie giggles) We also have...

Interviewer: You have to deal with this all the time, huh?

Katie: Yes. (to Josh, patting his arm) It's a pleasure.

Josh: I'm sure. (he laughs) You know, sometimes I feel bad for you having to deal with me. And others, I don't. Like right now.

Katie: You ever tire of yourself?

Josh: All the time.

Katie: Okay.

Interviewer: Do you guys think that your characters are a good match?

Katie: (Josh nods) I think Joey's just going through a bad boy phase. (she laughs and looks at Josh)

Interviewer: Obviously he is on the set, my goodness!

Josh: Am I a bad boy? v Katie:

Yes. Josh: That's okay. No, no, really. I'm willing to take the bad boy thing. I'm going with that. I'm willing to be the bad boy. (he growls like a cat - SEXY!)

Katie: No, I mean, I think it's very realistic. I mean... When you met these characters three years ago... They were kinda destined to fall in love.

Josh: Well, it was the whole snail fetching episode.

Katie: It was!

Josh: When you fetch snails, there's nothing more romantic than fetching snails...

Katie: You were watching when I took off my shirt...

Josh: I was not. I averted my eyes.

Katie: Anyway...

Film or Television?:

Katie: Umm...

Josh: There's pros and cons to both.

Katie: Yeah, there are, and... I dunno. I mean, I love what I do, so...

Josh: I love what you do, too.

Katie: Yeah?

Josh: Yeah.

Katie: No.

Josh: I really do.

Katie: Thanks.

Josh: You're welcome.

Katie: That's special. So, you know, it's...

Josh: I'm being honest, she's being facetious. That's the story of my life.

Katie: Well, it's works well that way. But if the material's challenging and it's something... a great script or whatever, it's always a pleasure no matter what medium we're in.

Josh: And it's good for young actors to be working. I mean there's so much left for us to learn. Not that you ever finish learning, but at this age... we're getting an experience down here working on Dawson's Creek to go and act every day. And if we're not doing this, even if we were lucky enough to have the future work that we're doing on the side anyhow, that would be three months out of the year, four months out of the year. I mean, this, you really get to go and do a lot and be bad sometimes, and learn and grow without the high pressure situation...

Katie: You've never been bad.

Josh: I'm bad.

Katie: No, you've never been bad.

Josh: No, it's actually that I've never been good, so you just haven't noticed how bad I am. (Katie laughs)

On the Dawson's Creek Experience:

Katie: Yeah, it's obviously been wonderful for all of us. It's given us so many opportunities and it is a great thing to be a part of...

Josh: A once in a lifetime...

Katie: Yeah, it's hard to even grasp it at this point.

Josh: (funny voice) But I try, all I can, and just hold on! (he grabs Katie's knee)

Katie: My knee! (points to her knee) Touching!

Josh: Okay! (he lets go like it burned him) Sorry.

Katie: Thank you.

Josh: (smiles) It's that damn restraining order. (Katie laughs)

On the Witter Gene Pool:

Josh: Well, the way I got it figured so far is that I get one family member every year. So this year, they've decided to add a sister, played by the lovely Sasha Alexander. Which is nice. So now I have a different outlet for my familial roles. But I gotta say, a little upset, and I said this earlier, that they hire all these beautiful people to be my family, which just makes me look like a mutt. (Katie smiles and shakes her head) I mean, it's like ridiculous...

Joey: (sternly) You're very beautiful, Josh.

Josh: On the inside. (Joey throws her hands down like, 'no!' Josh's voice changes, kinda nerdy) I'm like a little butterfly in a chrysalis. You know? The little chrysalis is kinda ugly and... webby, and gross.

Katie: (hitting him, laughing) Stop it.

Josh: But the butterfly inside is beautiful. (shows her the little butterfly in his hands) Beautiful butterfly.

Interviewer: Speaking of being so beautiful, Josh... are you confortable with your sex symbol status?

Josh: (laughs) Sure. I dunno. (like a pickup line) What are you doing tonight? (the interviewer laughs, and Josh kinda smiles. Katie was looking down and as he says this, she kinda smiles and looks up at him like, "Oh boy". Meanwhile, Gina laughs her ass off.)

If you had to exchange one body part with another Cast Member who would it be & why ?

Josh : Why me ? um ... lets see (to Kerr) how many episodes do we have left this year ?

Kerr : After this answer, not many

Josh : Exactly

Carson : Well, you never want a set of boobs ?

Josh : Yeah, I know exactly (to Michelle) are you working with me for the rest of the season, we don't have any scenes together.

Michelle : Don't do it, don't do it

Josh : (in a childlike voice) Michelle's Hair

Michelle : (pats Josh's arm) Very good, Very good

Carson : Any particular reason ?

Carson : Katie, am I mistaken in saying you have kissed all the guys on the show, in some way shape or form ?

Katie : Michelle & I, both have kissed all these guys on the show.

Carson : Ok, so whose's the best kisser ?

Katie : Oh man, am I the luckiest girl in the world or what ? I'm gonna say Kerr, coz he's gay.

Josh : You know that two today, you said that the first time ! where's the love here ?

Carson : James, this one's for you, you need a little help with your love life, who on the set would you turn to for relationship advice ?

James : Uh well Kerr seems to be the most sucessful so far, I mean he's engaged.

Carson : Michelle, are you ready ? How are you Michelle ?

Michelle : I'm ok thank you

Michelle : Well, it doesn't really take much inviting, oh yeah, I'm gonna go with Katie on this one

Carson : Really the girls are out on the town ?

Michelle : Because, because she's known to dance on a few table tops

Katie : (to Michelle) Thank you

Michelle : Quite well, I might add

Carson : Kerr this one's for you, which cast member is most likely to have seen the Britney Spears movie this past weekend ?

(Kerr laughs & points at Katie)

Carson : Did you have a little Crossroads fever over the weekend Katie ?

Katie : Yes

Carson : Did you see it ?

Katie : I haven't seen it yet

Carson : But you want to ?

Katie : I do, I really like Britney (looking at Josh) I think she does a good job

Carson : What you looking at Josh for, you got a problem with Britney ?

Josh : I'm not the hugest fan it must be said

Carson : Hey thats all right, this is an equal opportunities show, uh here's the last question for all of you. Which cast member takes advantage of his or her fame the most, like getting dates, free gifts, getting into clubs that kinda thing ?

Josh : Dates ?

(Katie points her thumb at Josh and the crowds shout Josh)

Carson : Ahh, a non cast member volunteered Josh

Josh : Ya know, I'm not fairing very well on this couch today

Carson : All right, I'd say you were the winner !

Josh : Woohoo !

Katie on the WB 11 News
approx. 10 pm February 6, 2001
transcribed by Tara for Katie-Holmes.com

News guy: Viewers of the WB show Dawson's Creek saw a different side of actress Katie Holmes tonight.that's one way to put it I guess. Holmes and her TV boyfriend Joshua Jackson took their relationship to the next level as they say. Joey and Pacey got intimate while spending a night in their own room during a senior class trip. On the WB Morning News, Holmes told Entertainment reporter Linda Lopez that Jackson's easy- going style made it easy to shoot this.

Show's Katie the entire time while talking to Linda Lopez.

Katie: The whole episode for Joey is.she's upset the whole time and trying to deal with the thought of having sex.

Linda Lopez: It's a big deal.

Katie: .and the reprecussions of that. And so.you know, everyday I joke about it. It's not a real day at work unless I cried for two hours or whatever. So it's nice because he definitely livens things up.

They show the scene of Joey and Pacey by the mirror at the lodge where Pacey is standing in back of her.

News Guy: Next week Dawson asks Joey what happens on the trip. Dawson's Creek.well, that's our preview of the coming attractions.Dawson's Creek airs Wednesday nights right here on the WB 11.

Wow! Dom, finally we agree on something: I really believe Josh is an excellent kisser! Can you Andie lovers PLEASE just admit to being D/Jers, too? Is that too much to ask? You know deep down you want those early couples back! You don't have to put a disclaimer on every post. You like Andie. We.get.it. Okay, we don't actually *get* it but we *hear* you. I used to think you were lying but nobody could have kept that kind of ruse up for this long.
I think Josh is the only actor I've thought Katie had any real chemistry with? (disclaimer: I am NOT a real life shipper; I just play one on message boards) I gotta give it up to Josh, though. His chemistry wattage is so high a girl'd have to have an off switch to stop it. And if the p/jers hadn't seen the damn wattage up so high with Katie they'd have accepted his relationships with other DC characters.

There talking about DJ and PJ kisses. It's hysterical. I don't think I've seen Katie kiss anyone on the show like Josh, except I did find a hot Joey and Charlie kiss picture.

Many insiders are suggesting that Dawson's Creek may have a storm on the horizon in the form of repeat story lines and unhappy stars.

Although Dawson's Creek still holds its position as one of the WB's biggest hits and a consistent ratings draws, those close to the show are reporting that the final episodes of the season, including the season finale, are shaping up in an eerily similar fashion to last year's final episodes. It seems that Joey is going to have to choose once again between her philosophical "best friend for life," Dawson, and the somewhat troubled but eternally lovable Pacey. If you're experiencing déjà vu, don't be alarmed - that is the exact same story line as last season. Why, you ask, are the producers going back to such a recently used formula? It seems that the power that be on the Dawson's set, namely Dawson, has stated his dislike for the fact that the show's primary character has taken a back seat to its supporting cast, Joey and Pacey.
The fact that the show has elevated both Katie Holmes and Josh Jackson to superstar status has blurred the chain of command on the set. Viewers seem to be equally intrigued by all three of the characters in one of television's most complicated love triangles. While Dawson's moves toward its season finale, producers should be wary that appeasing their stars could cost the show dearly in the long run. As they attempt to refocus on Dawson, they could lose some of the magic that the show has generated lately and could find themselves sinking in Dawson's Creek. Does anyone else see a 'Joey Loves Pacey' spin-off coming?

Been ages since I've been back here.
This is my take on the ending of the show...

Seems as though KH either knows more about what's coming up on the show else she gets whatever she wants.

1 - promoted/encouraged the Pacey/Joey storyline, it came true
2 - made a statement that Dawson/Joey should have a last hurrah, beginning of S6 they sleep together.

In a recent interview (don't recall which one), she stated that she hoped that the ending would be "bittersweet".

What that actually means, I don't know but my guess is that none of the characters will end up together.

Heck, maybe just a coincidence.

Now how lame would this be? - TPTB decide to weasel out of this "warring factions mess" and have a couple different endings to try and pacify everyone. Hour 1 of the finale, P/J ending and Hour 2 a D/J ending. Audience can watch whichever one makes them happier.

Scary thing, I could see TPTB take the spineless approach. Lord knows they've sucked the spine out of more than one character on the show.

Y'all have a good evening.

Just brought over something someone said. That is so true. She did want Joey and Dawson to have a last hurrah and then be done. She mentioned it at the museum event.

HOWEVER, the chemistry between D/J just isn't there. I mean, you compare the D/J scenes to the P/J scenes and there's just not a contest. Regardless of the lines the writers have given them, KH and JJ just make it more believable. I'm just thinking of two scenes off the top of my head...

D/J on the swings with "Have a Little Faith In Me" playing in the background. I think JJ could have pulled that scene off just as well or better than JVDB. IMO, of course.

P/J on the boat with "This Year's Love" playing in the background. I just can't see JVDB sliding KH into his arms like she was meant to be there - again, IMO. (god, I'm being so diplomatic today!)
