My first post
Okay, as far as bad characters goes, there's a few. Andie was always really annoying to me. Plus, after she got over her mental illness and she and Pacey broke up, her character served no further purpose for the show. Thus her early exit.
Eve. Do I have to elaborate on that one? Really, I don't think it's necessary.
Mitch Leery. Seriously, they played him out to be the best dad in the world, but I think he was crap. He was extremely selfish and lazy. Tell me, besides coaching a football team that wasn't that great and helping out his WIFE'S restraunt, what did he really do? Which brings up the issue of the Leery house. I wouldn't picture a small-town journalist to be able to afford their uppper-middle class suburban establishment. Hopelessly unrealistic.
Eddie. Ick. Worst setup with Joey in history. What a loser.
As for characters that changed over time...
Dawson seasons one through four. Yeah, I know I'll get crap for this one, but dude needed to grow up. Whined way too much and was way too self-involved. One reason I switched from being a "Dawson-Joey" fan to a "Joey-Pacey" fan was because of Dawson's selfish love of Joey. Want proof? Perfect example is episode 216 "Be Careful What You Wish For." Check the scene in the first act where he wants Joey back, not because it's what's best for Joey, but it's what's best for him. That's why Pacey deserved her more. It's a good thing he grew up though.
Joey seasons five and six. Chick turned into a major slut. LOL. Sorry to be so blunt, but it's true. Chick went through boys like underwear. I blame that on the writers.
That's all I can think of off of the top of my head. Would love to hear everyone else's input on my thoughts, and you can always email me at
