I think we all hate Conner right now. Actually he's been hate-worthy for a while. I mean first he goes and screws Cordelia and then he goes and bitches and complains how Angel messed up his life (HELLO, you messed up his way more than he messed up yours, JR.), and lately with his allegence to Jasmine. Conner may redeem himself later on, but I'm seeing nothing but death in his future, but I'm always wrong...so don't pay any attention.

Boy does he ever! I disliked him from the beginning, he looks funny and has weird hair!

If you hate Connor, than the writers and actor are doing there jobs. I think right now Connor's character is not supossed to be liked too much. I could not stand Connor in the begining either, but this season has turned out so well I'm starting to respect him.

More shows need a main/everyday character who is dark and maybe even one of the bad guys. There are not too many shows out there like that. Buffy used to have that with Spike, especially in the begining, but the writers have totally changed his character. Even before he got his soul back.

I gotta disagree on a few things. The first is Spike. It think it'll be great if he crosses over to Angel.Spike and Angel are the equivalent of Buffy and Faith. They're essentially the same, but their methods and actions seperate them. Plus they share a common disliking for one another, yet will join together if necessary. I do agree that the core cast has hit it's stride and I personally believe there's no way to go but up with season 5. With "Buffy" writers flocking to "Angel" and executive producer, David Greenwalt returning next season, it's sure to be the best yet. The other thing I disagree with is that Angel has been better than Buffy this season. I would have agreed with you right before Jasmine arrived and the Beast was vanquished. Since Jasmine arrived, it just hasn't done it for me. Currently Buffy's bad ass preacher turned evil, Caleb has been winning over Angel's Jasmine. For me, any given season of either show was all about the villains. They're what made or broke the season. And lately Jasmine hasn't been perfroming much in the way of wickedness. I know she's just biding her time waiting for something, but it still makes for difficult watchings. Caleb, however, was breaking arms and poking out eyes before his first episode ended.

Hell yeah I'd want Faith on Buffy every week. She's so great. I absolutely loved season 3. Faith did her own thing and Buffy did hers, occasionally they worked together, but for the most part they were at odds with one another. I can see the exact same thing happening with Angel and Spike. I'm sure the show will still revolve around Angel. Just because Spike has a soul doesn't mean he's an exact carbon copy of Angel. Besides if the rumors are true and Spike dies in the end of Buffy it's a real possibility that we won't be seeing Spike, but a whole new character. Not too sure how that would work out though. The point I'm trying to mak is that Buffy has had other slayers on the past seven years and the spotlight has never left Buffy. The other slayers were just players in HER world. It'll be the same case with Angel. Totally agree on the opinion thing. I will say that both shows are doing impressive work this year. I still wish the Beast was still tromping around though, he was pretty damn cool. By the way Welcome to the board, InLiquid.

Gotta say, I have to agree with Mr. J. I loved when Buffy and Faith were together. Although they are technically the same thing--slayers--their approach to that life is/was completely different. Buffy is all responsible and pratical. Faith just kicks ass and takes names later. She's much more impulsive. Basically, good vs. evil. Same as with Spike and Angel. Especially now that they both have a soul. Angel is like Buffy and Spike is like Faith. And although they can all work together if need be, their is that internal conflict that makes the dynamics of the group far more interesting. IMO

I do have to give kudos to the writers of Angel...they are doing exactly what they are suppose to be going with Conner. They are making us hate him. Kudos to you guys!

Supposedly it's coming back if the rumors are true, but the offical word will be out 15 days from now. So we'll just have to wait and see. Also James Marsters (Spike) said that the only way he'd be able to jump on Angel would be if a regular cast memeber was to leave due to the money situation on Angel. He said he was in talks and the only way he'd do any Angel was if Spike became a regular cast member. So if Conner or Cordelia happen to die or something, I guess we can look forward to more Spike. If not, then the last time you'll ever set eyes on him is May 20th...and of course the multiple times you watch the re-reuns, the tapes and the DVDs.

what? no! spike can't leave! spikes spike! he's sexy and cool and funny and the closest thing to british that buffy/angel has. giles and wesley dont count. oh, ok, maybe giles does but wes doesnt. dont ask me to explain, i'm in one of those moods.

angel/spike stuff will just be cool. no further comments needed.
