:fight Rumors have been buzzing lately that Stephanie Romanov will not be returning for the 5th season of Angel. Apparently there's some truth to them, because it was just revealed that her character Lilah Morgan would not be making any earthly visits from her current hellish home. The plot goes like this; apparently it takes a whole lotta money to reanimate a deceased lawyer of Wolfram & Hart (even for a few days)and instead of allowing Lilah to be ressurrected , the senior partners felt it would be a better decision financially to promote a living breathing lawyer to Lilah's old position. The new girl's name is eve and her offical job will be to act as a liason between Angel and the senior partners.Eve is also in place to make sure Angel and the gang do not change much of what has helped strengthen Wolfram & Hart in the eyes of their clients. So don't expect the defending of the bad guys in court to go away. It also went on to mention that she can not take Angel to the senior partners only swap messenges between both parties. Another interesting tid bit is that this girl may end up being a new love interest for Angel. Also on the Cordelia front it stated that she'll be slowly revived from her coma, just not right away. All these things make the show sound greater than last seaosn to me. I think Wolfram & Hart are finally gaining what they wanted on their side all along; Angel. If this season is the last then it'll probably be able to tie up all Wolfram & Hart's loose ends including their much saught after Apocalypse. The one thing I can't determine is exactly how Spike fits into all this, but good things come to those who wait...so I'll wait.:bat

Bummer. I was looking forward to more Liliah. I really liked her, but this new girl sounds like she could be interesting. And I'm with you, I can't wait to see how Spike plays into all of this. :grin

:fight Down boy. On the contrary it's very right. I said Lilah was out and Cordelia is only out as far as being a regular cast member. The producers have stated that they hope and expect Charisma to make a couple of appearances in a few episodes to close out the character. Joss whedon has specifically said that they will not leave her in a coma. It'll be kinda weird not seeing Cordelia in the opening credits. I'd really like it if they made Eve a regular but at this current time she's just has a recurring role along with Mercedes Mcnab's Harmony.I wouldn't have minded Gwen Raiden showing up as a regular either. She was kick ass even though she was just out for herself and not much of a team player. Still it would be nice to have another supernaturally endowed brawler in the fang gang's ranks. I'm sure Wolfram & Hart could offer up a few likely candidates to replace Cordelia, but then the question becomes how many of them could be trusted? It sounds like it's gonna be a wicked season. I really wouldn't mind if all the senior partners were finally exposed on screen. And seeing as how this may be Wolfram & Hart's big season on Angel, the timing couldn't be better.:bat

i would actually love eve there, she was really kick ass

and i thought that carisma wasnt coming back, which really didnt make me too happy cuz upon losing doyle a long time ago the origninal from the beginning cast is not gonna be on, well angel still there lol. and wesley. plus angel and cordy never got there chance and her not having one word in the finally was not kool for her final appearence (or so i thought - her final in the credits appearence) i really didnt like the whole season and where it went and sudden deaths but i did like when eliza came faith rocks but didnt like the whole jasmine thing. i didnt think it did nething to the story. so ya.

spike is coming in the second episode called spike, so obviously the first episode must lead the gang into trouble or of course spike is in trouble.

:fight I also thought Lilah was a great addition, she played the cool clever bitch perfectly IMO. She had the killer instinct that Lindsey never really had. And Harmony could never take her place :barf I really don't think that's the reason Harmony's there anyway. Harmony will most likely do what she does best. Comic relief. Eve sounds like she's going to be the next "Lilah" type cept a lil worse. I honestly can't wait to get a look at this girl. She sounds bad ass but probably won't look it. Yet looks can be deceiving especially on Angel. Also on the Jasmine front,I too felt that it was a little to far gone. How could the Beast crush kill and destroy for half the season and then Jasmine "love" everyone for the final half. The season didn't feel as close knit as it predecessors had, but I still felt it was a good season. It just felt a bit like Buffy's seaosn 4; and a jittery overal plotting but with some great stand alone episodes. Also every episode that had Faith was great. I loved watching her fight the beast and then Angelus. Was truly some Angelic hours:bat

:fight If the rumors be true then he's gonna be given a mystical mind enhancement that makes him super intelligent regarding all things lawyer. Needless to say he wastes no time in taking his new found knowledge before a court of law and testing it out. Naturally this enhancement is Wolfram & Hart's doing, which probably means it'll screw him over in the end. Also I wonder if he'll end up a bad lawyer type like all the other bad lawyer types that walk the W&H hallways.:bat

:fight Already answered that one in your other post on the subject, Baskid. In regards to Gunn turning evil, I think it would be great. He seems like he'd be the most succeptable to the dark side.Angel, Fred, Lorne. and Wes all seem like they could leave it far behind if need be.Gunn's different though, he doesn't have all the strength and will that they do. Plus you can tell he kind of distances himself from the "family" atmosphere that the fang gang has going. He treats his work with Angel like it's a stepping stone toward something bigger. And once that bigger thing comes he'd leave Angel behind without thinking twice. That's my opinion though. It may all stem from the fact that I just don't really like Gun, but I doubt it :bat

:fight If she leaves the ditz at the door and embraces her inner homicidal tendencies then I'll jump on the Harmony bandwagon. She was good in "Disharmony" though. She managed to pull off the ditz and be viscious at the same time. Not an easy thing to do. I have tremendous respect for Mercedes Mcnab and I think she's done more with the character than any other actress would have done, but still Angel's world is very dark and foreboding where most of the time it ends in destruction, torment and death. I just don't see her really fitting into his world with Cordelia out of the picture.Of course under the guiding hand of Wolfram & Hart (the cause of the destruction, torment & death on a regular basis), she may evolve into the murderous, vindictive bitch we all know she could be.:bat

she was great is disharmony and i think she brings somewhat of what spike brings just not as much. with spike and harmony its gonna be a funny time annoying angel. I think that she can be very goo but regardless wat the cast does with her, charisma still rules
