Yes he's indeed back (I think we all knew that already), however he's not the same love sick vampire hero we remember. The current state of spike has been revealed as being (dramatic pause) a ghost. It's unknown what occured during Sunnydale's demise that lead to Spike's spectral state. But it is known that he's going to have some kind of link to Angel. He'll be spectrally bound to the viscinity Angel is in. This means Spike will probably be in on a lot of the action. It also means he really can't go out there and find Buffy without Angel being there as well. Spike's first Angel appearance will be in the 2nd episode of season five as earlier stated. It's also unknown if he'll be able to fight in his current ghastly state. And unlike Phantom Dennis, Spike will be very see-able.Also Spike's curent ghostly dilehma may be very temporary. It was also hinted that he might have a thing for Fred. Stay tuned guys, season 5 just started sounding even better.

I don't think ANY sane heterosexual guy would have to do much acting to be in love with her. Too bad she fell for Freddy Prinz...whatever his name is. James and her would have made a cute couple...even though there's that 15 year difference between them. God that's so odd. I'm gonna have trouble with this one for a while, cause he doesn't look that much older than her. I think that tv has stupifid me. I mean usually you don't see many guys in their 40s shirtless on prime time tv and even less so engaged in rough animal like sex. They didn't even take the Creek kids that far and their all mid 20s. I'm sure once Spike pops up on Angel I'll forget he's 40 and be all surprised when someone mentions it again. If Juliet Landau turns out to be 40 I'll just stack it all up to being a "vampire thing."

And to think I wondered why Lesbian alliances list SMG as one of their favorite actresses, just under Ellen Degeneras.The girl has had more on screen kisses with women than men as far as feature films go.Freddy better watch his back, he may end up losing SMG to a Xena type wearing an authntic breast plate with arms bigger than his own

It's been said that Spike is going to be disappearing and reappearing much like a traditional ghost, however, this is not a good thing . It appears that each time Spike disappears he's actually getting dragged closer and closer to Hell. Fred realizes this and vows to help him. That kinda lends itself to the Spike/Fred pairing. Also it's rumored that it will be mentioned that Buffy is in Europe for at least the time being. What she's doing there is still unknown. This should all happen around episode 3 of season 5.
