Mr. J-- actually, we had meant to move all the Angel threads in here a long time ago and just never did. Our bad. But yes.. Angel stuff is more than welcome in here - since they have gone hand in hand at one point or another.

We're not exactly certain what's up with Cordy's descent to the dark side yet as yet. She spent the summer as a higher being, came back with no memory , memory gradually returned to full status just in time for The Beast to arrive and cause a rain of fire which compelled her to sleep with Conner cause "he never had anything real" (don't ask). Then after the slaughter of Wolfram and Harts entire staff at the Beast's hands, Lilah took refuge at Angel's hotel only to be stabbed to death by cordelia soon after Angel became Angelus. Now Cordelia's been revealed as being the Beasts master and also to be carrying Conner's bun in the oven. I think that puts us up to date. Personally I think Cordy was possessed by a hell god while she was in limbo over the summer. It said somewhere that the Beast's master was a god of some sort. So I'm thinking he/she hitched a ride back to the earth realm on Cordelia's body and probably established complete control over her a few episodes ago. Sounds alot like a Glory type to me, which would be cool, cause Glory kicked ass. Also did anyone actually expect Faith to win against the Beast? Brave of her to try though...GO FAITH!

Yeah pretty much in the last ep is when we all realized "it was on." The stabbing Lilah thing was the first truely benevolent act we witnessed on Cordy's part. And with the whole Cordy sleeping with Conner thing, I think the first time, she thought they were gonna die, what with the rain of fire happening right outside and all. Even Lilah looked scared when the Beast caused it to rain fire. On Wednesday's ep, I'm thinking Cordy is a little possessed and probably not acting of her own accord because like 2 episodes ago she told conner it was never going to happen again. Another theory is that this baby is making her do bad things. I'm hoping that's not the case cause that sounds too "Charmed" to me. Have her be possessed by something. Or at least make the baby a demon something that develops and grows rapidly.

I don't think it's just the baby making her do things. I think the baby was actually talking to Angel tonight. The voice said it was in a place "warm and soft." That to me says inside Cordy. I think this thing is gonna come to term and be a full grown something-or-other. It does seem like the baby may be controlling her, which is very "phoebe" of the producers to do, but it is Angel and let's face it folks...Angel is ten times better than Charmed. So I figure it'll all become a much more exciting ride than Phoebe's random fireballs and mood swings. Joss wouldn't put us through that...right? While we're on the subject of agony...LET'S GO FAITH! Those few years in prison make her soft or something? Angelus wasn't kidding when he said she "never used bleed so easily." I expected her to get beat down by the Beast...but I actually expected her to win against Angelus. Maybe I'm being too hard on her, but I just don't like seeing her get messed up. I really felt for the girl when she was in the shower washing off her own blood, knowing she couldn't have survived without Angelus. I've read the spoilers, so I expect the tables to turn on Angelus soon. And the most important thing was not who won the battles...it's who won the war.TTFN
