I cast the first vote! For Xander...and he has pretty much remained one of my favorite characters throughout the years.

I voted for Buffy, but dammit had there been an "other" option I would have voted for the Master cause he was great. He had a perfect blend of humor and cruelty. To this day I still think he was Buffy's best Villain.

It looks like they only included the regular cast memebers and Angel wasn't one of them in season 1, he was just a recurring guest star, like the Master. Didn't get his regular status till season 2...but I'm betting you knew that Baskid.

I didn't include Angel purely because he wasn't a season regular in Season 1 ~ I included the five people that were in the opening credits.

I know... but Angel became more of a main character in Season 2, so if I was to put up a poll for Season 2, I would put him in it, probably instead of Giles... no offence to Giles or anything... I love Giles, but I S 2 was an important Angel season..

Angel was in The Harvest, Teacher's Pet, Never Kill a Boy on the First Date, Angel, Out of Mind, Out of Sight, Prophecy Girl and Welcome to the Hellmouth.. so seven episodes in total.

The Master was in Welcome to the Hellmouth, The Harvest, Never Kill a Boy on the First Date, Angel, Nightmares, Prophecy Girl (from Season 1), When She Was Bad (season 2) and The Wish (season 3), and made an appearance in Season 7 also.

So, you could argue that The Master wasn't in as many episodes as Angel, but I reckon he made a bigger impact!
