:fight Nothing's official yet, but the genuine feeling (in the rumors) is that team whedon has opted to not go the spin-off route at this time. They could be just throwing up a smoke screen to disguise their true intentions, but I may be reaching with that one.:rolleyes However, those witty producers have surprised me several times over the years, so why stop now? I really can't tell you why they would option for no spin-off. It seems like a foolish move.:wtf They MUST know, we want our Buffyverse to carry on in any way possible. I had heard several great ideas floating around (Willow, Faith, Potential Slayer/Watcher Academy), but none of the above seem to be in the planning stages.:tantrum One glimmer of hope that still remains is that Mutant Enemy supposedly was beginning production on some form of teaser trailer for a new Vampire slaying series.:silly So if that turns out to be true then the rumors be damned.:tongue

here is what I heard recently. three main vuffy characters are moving to angel... they say the james marsters almost confirmed that he was doin'so. ten of course everybody hink about willow (because of the crossover in orpheus in the connection they tried to make between her and fred.) they say the only question about who will be the third one...nicholas brndon said he wouldn't, so did emma caulfield(or whatever). there's only dawn and andrew left... on maybe wood... but I think they're playing with us...
I can't believe the producers are not thinking in the way of making money... I meanthey are producers! and killing the buffyverse? what a loss...! so I think there definitly be a spinn-off. I mean they can be sure people will follow the spinn-off no matter what it is. I'd hate a dawn spinn-off... but I have to admit that I'll watch it. I'll rush to it more than I rushed to angel. 'cause there will be no buffy anymore. and I think buffyfans will do the same. plus I'm sure Joss would find a way to make dawn the vampire slayer interesting...hey here is a spoiler about the finale I think it's bullshit... it sounds oo simple, too predictible...tell me what you think.

Regarding the finale: "in the opening Act, continuing on from Ep 21, spike goes on a rampage; trashing casa summers. Buffy returns, sans angel, She calms spike and they sort out their problems; when the first and his minions storm the house; destroying it. Whilst this is happening Dawn is back in sunnydale when she recieves a visit from her mother "use your key power" she's told by her mother. Buffy/Spike/anya/andrew battle the bringers in the house. whilst Faith and wood escape with the SITS - they have a plan. Anya summons a shaman who casts a spell giving the first a physical presense; in which it is morally wounded; but escapes to revive. Faith and co meet up with Dawn in the place where willow went syc last year. Buffy and co reach this destination also; with Angel. an all out battle ensues. Anya and willow use their magic to create a counter first; which pushes the first away. Caleb attacks willow; stabbing her in the chest. Buffy is distraught, and caught off guard. she is impailed by an ubervamp. Spike takes her to safety. Faith and wood continue battle with the SITS; and protecting dawn. Anya calls upon a demon and uses a spell to exchange her lifeforce with Willows; ending her life and saving willows. Willow flees to help Buffy. Kennedy and Andrew is knocked out of the fight. Wood is killed by an ubervamp. Dawn uses her key powers to open a portal. Willow takes charge of her magic and pushes the first into the portal. Angel kills Caleb. The portal closes. survivors include: Kennedy, other SITS, Andrew, Dawn, Xander, Willow, Spike, Angel, Buffy, Faith. In the last remaining part of the ! episode Spike sires buffy to stop her from dying. As the sun rises the two begin to turn to dust, buffy whispers in Spike's ear: "I love you" Faith leaves with the remaining SITS to train them. Angel; Andrew and Kennedy leave for LA. Willow leaves back to englang with Giles, Xander and Dawn leave also. Sunnydale lies in ruins. OH, it should also be known that Dawn also uses her power to lock the hellmouth for good.

:fight Sounds like crap to me. Caleb is set to die before the finale. And Joss has said in several interviews that Buffy's set to live on for possible cameos on Angel and such. It better be crap anyway. No way do I want to see the Buffster vamped in the end. That's like getting tackled at the one yard line. She's so close to finishing this up and then BAM! she becomes the one thing she hates the most. Although look what happened to Xena. She was in the last show doing her thing, then she's a ghost (big deal she's been a ghost before), and then the unthinkable happens...SHE STAYS DEAD!:rolleyes I don't need to see another heroine close the series by dying. It's stupid and over rated. There's much better ways to end a show. Long after Buffy ends I want to be able to think about her off somewhere trainning the potentials or looking after dawn or chilling with the gang while dusting the occasional vampire. Killing her off makes that impossible. It makes her story over, It makes it less:dunno .I like the idea of Spike and Willow going to Angel. I wonder if that means some of the current Angel regulars will get killed off. I wouldn't mind seeing Gunn go... he boarderes on annoying sometimes for me. Just Don't kill Fred... she's so cute.:loveu I wonder what the first will look like when an if it becomes "hittable." I'm kinda hoping it shifts through the forms of Buffy's big bads again through out the final fight. It would be so cool to see her fighting Glory and then get knocked down and get up to find a fistful of Adam waiting for her. My personal favorite has always been the Master:silly . So I'm hoping for at least one more glimpse of him before this monster ends.7 weeks to go folks.:sad

yeah sounds like fanfic.

I'm sorry not beeing able to discuss with you about xena, I'm really not into it...I've been watching 1 episode and got:sleep2

hey here is a casting call for the final that making me very very excited

Episode 7.22, entitled "The Chosen," is naturally being written and directed by Joss Whedon himself. What the production is looking for this time around is for five potential slayers. Our sources tell us a casting call went out today for the following roles:

Potential Slayer #1: East Indian, 14-17 years, she topples over in a marketplace, hit by something she doesn't understand
Potential Slayer #2: Caucasian, 12 years old, this unsure, mousy softball player at bat looks down at the plate, then looks up again with a wicked grin, steadying for the pitch
Potential Slayer #3: Japanese, 14-17 years, at home with her family, backs slowly away from the table feeling a bit unsteady
Potential Slayer #4: African American, 14-17 years, a girl in school who is ignored by the crowd, then steadies herself on a locker and looks around with new eyes
Potential Slayer #5: Caucasian, white trash, chubby. 14-17, when her father takes a swing at her, she rises powerfully, grabbing his arm, wrenches it away from her

We are told all five roles are non-speaking parts, and probably will not be working directly

:thinking :thinking :thinking :thinking :thinking :thinking :thinking
don't you think the fifth one's gonna be the next slayer. but how come they all feel something wierd... and what is his think about the 4th one... they say she looks around with new eyes...? I think this mean the whole world's gonna be different...but how come they all feel it...? do you have any idea?

and by the way... I'm sorry to desapoint but the actor that plays the master confirmed that he hasn't been contacted for a new episode...I read it somewhere... sorry I can't remember where it was. but I think it can be a false spoiler... just to make us happier when we see him.

has anybody seen "inside out"? damn gooood episode.! does anybody think cordy's dead...? I'm quite confused and spoilerless...please help meeeeeeeeeeee!

I read about these girl's earlier. It's almost sounding like all the potentials get activated at once. Like maybe something Buffy does something that unlocks the power in each of them and it's no longer two slayers but a true army. Anyway that's what I hope it means. Nothing was ever said about Buffy having enhanced vision, but it's not that far fetched. All her other physical attributes are hightended, why not her sight? I'll find the courage to move on if The master doesn't return. It just would have been a welcome surprise. On the Angel front, I understood it that Cordy came back fine, yet started going evil after the baby started growing and establishing control over the her body. So it was kinda like a parasite. I don't think she died after tonight's "Birth". I read Coma actually in today's spoilers. Either way getting very interesting. AND CAN YOU BELIVE CONNER LET DARLA/INNOCENT GIRL GET KILLED?!?! I was like "you stupid stupid, ass!"
