 Nah killing her off would be stupid. They've done it twice. Let the girl live. Maybe Buffy wants out of the vampire slaying business and decides to leave with Dawn. Maybe She asks Willow and Spike to help Angel because she knows he'll need it. Or its possible that Willow and Spike just naturally gravitate to LA. It sounds like Sunnydale is gonna get severly trashed in the finale and it has been hinted that the Hellmouth may close. So I'm thinking maybe if one mouth closes another opens, maybe under LA. I honestly haven't a clue, but like with all things that happen in the buffyverse, there's usually a reason.

True. But what's that saying..."third times a charm?" Although I'm not exactly sure how Joss will let this play out, I am leaning toward the dying theory. Because, why is it all of a sudden for Buffy to want to leave the life of a Slayer now? Aren't there always going to be Big Bads? Vampires? New Hellmouths? Wouldn't she always be needed? Just my thought.

Well in the beginning all she wanted was to be a normal girl. I think if given the chance to be free of a lifetime of demons and darkness, she'd take it. It's something she's always wanted. She was running from her destiny when the show first started, but somewhere between season 1-7, she accepted her destiny and fought the good fight. I think she's earned a release. I mean if Angel gets a reward for his redemption (becoming human supposedly in the end), why wouldn't Buffy? I mean most slayers don't even make it to 18 , that should count for something. I wouldn't want her to have to fight for the rest of her life, because sooner or later she's gonna lose and I wouldn't want her to go that way. The council of watchers should just release a Slayer from her duties once she reaches a certain age. I'm suddenly seeing a flaw in my plan...seeing as how there's no more council...damn and I thought I was on a role.

 Damn! I thought I was actually going to be able to call you on the council thing, but you beat me to it! Well, I guess we'll see what Joss has up his sleeve in just a couple more weeks.

Hey if Wofram & Hart can resurface after the beating they took... anything's possible. Somehow I don't think the world will remain council-less after the first evil is put down like the rapid dog it is. I'm sure Giles and what remains of the watchers will rebuild. Also one would think there would be some kind of spell to strip a slayer of her powers, I mean the charmed girls have done is several times. Just strip her of the power and send it onto the next in line. That would probably be too easy though. Joss likes his drama and who could blame him?

Yes and we love him to pieces for it. Without his sense of dramatics, Buffy never would have sent Angel to hell, Spike would have never fallen for Buffy and Darla would have never gotten pregnant.Jeez we would have missed out on a lot of cool crap without drama.

I'm starting to think, especially now with the news of James moving to Angel, that she doesn't pick either. For whatever reason--she dies, she just decides to be alone...whatever. Why else would Spike go to LA? And although my heart wants her with Angel...that's obviously not a choice..unless SMG was going to Angel...which we all know is not happening. IMO

I refuse to believe that girl is gonna die again. I agree with the "why would Spike leave her?" statement, but I feel that maybe he knows deep down that it could never work out between them. He has all the same problems Angel had and a few new ones. Spike knows he can't be with her and will probably say his goodbyes to her in the finale. It just seemed like he didn't want Buffy to say that they could be together after the battle tonight. He stopped her mid-sentence. It may just be starting to sink in to Spike that this can't work. Sure he loves her, but he's beginning to realize it's an impossible scenario. Maybe he'll go to Angel because Angel's been there and they share that in common. I honestly haven't a clue as usual. Spike is such a wild card. You never know what he's thinking or what he'll do next. I'm actually kinda nervous for Buffy with the First trying to influence him again. There's sure to be some quarreling in the ranks before they even go up against the First in the final battle. There's sure to be some drama, have the woman folk bring the tissues for us men.

Yeah, I'm just interested to see how they are going to play this out. How and why Spike leaves and goes with Angel. Not like they are the best of friends. But that dynamic brings interesting shows. So, I guess we only have a few more days until we see.

I voted for Angel. I am yet to see the finale though (being in Australia, I still have four more episodes to go) and so I am trying to avoid any spoilers that might give away the answer!

Ahh, spoiler-free is the way to go. I myself remained spoiler-free for the last half of the season, and it was so much fun watching when I didn't know what was coming!

Im saying Angel cause It has always been B/A thats just the way its been from the start for me...Spike and Buffy never had that connection...They only started to really connect when Spike was sacrificing himself for the world and then can you really say that anything could come out of what Buffy said..I mean just abit before that she was smooching Angel... Buffy and Angel FOREVER..
