:fight If Caleb is to be considered the Big Bad of the season, then there's no way he went down that easy. One slice? No beheading or getting sent to Hell? Yeah he'll be back. The First isn't done pulling his strings. I agree that the sweet whispers was messed up, but it's the First, so it's expected on some level.I can't wait...that battle looks beyond cool. Getting frskin' goosebumbs just thinking about it.:bat

I can't wait to see where exactly this big battle is taking place. Does the Hellmouth open and they actually battle in Sunnydale or does Buffy and gang have to go into the Hellmouth? Hmm...:thinking

:fight Des, we seriously have to stop playing post tag. I heard it actually takes place very close to the hellmouth. Possibly even inside it. In the previews it looked like a bunch of ubervamps were getting thrown into lava or something. It makes sense that Buffy and the gang would go into the Hellmouth for the finale. It's what has given them all this grief over the past seven years. They probably feel the only way to get any peace of mind would be to close the sucker for good and I couldn't agree with them more. Slay on Buffy!:bat

In the commericals it looks like caleb is back to life. Not suprising though cause the bad guy ALWAYS comes back for more! And by the way Buffy "cut him" it doesn't look like she actually CUT him deep enough. It looks she just scraped him.

:fight I thought that too. I was like "at least decapitate him or something." If that had truely been Caleb's last fight then it would have been severly anti climatic, but lucky for us he's back in the full swing of things by the finale. CAN'T WAIT!:bat

Yeah, it would of been rather anti-climatic if that's how Caleb died. It was just another fight. He deserves to go to Hell in some grand way! ;)

:fight I totally agree. I think we all know that Caleb is gonna bite it for sure, but what about the First? She's still no closer to stopping it than she was 21 episodes ago.I think the First is going to endure beyond the finale. I think buffy's going to make it so the First can no longer continue it's assalut against the slayer line, but will be unnable to stop it entirely. Like the floating eye said "the first has been and always shall be." When I hear a sentence like that I tend to believe.:bat

Yeah...I'd have to agree. I don't think she'll be able to totally rid the world of The First...from my assumptions, the first is evil. As sad as it may be, the world can not go on without evil.

:fight I should mention in the Fray cmic about the future slayer, it was hinted that a slayer (Buffy) fought an apocalyptic army of demons and banished them all from the world...which resulted in a slayer not being called for over 100 years, till the demons and vampires somehow came back. I doubt this will happen in the finale mostly because Angel still exists and he's going to need things to fight. Still it would have been cool if Buffy could have done that.I agree there Des, there has to be some kinda balance between good and evil. It's just the way things are meant to be. Without good, evil would span across the world and probably eventually destroy itself. Without evil, the good eventually turn on each other and destroy themselves. So like it or not the good needs the evil.:bat

:fight The whole show is probably gonna end with the First chosing a new vessel (assuming Caleb dies) and the powers that be chosing a new slayer. That'll be the full circle ending. Full circle endings tend to be neat and nice and leave you feeling fulfilled. Honestly, I think it'll be a superb ending to an extrodinary series. I WISH IT WOULD HURRY UP AND GET HERE! :bat
