Discussion and review thread for tonights ep. What were your thoughts on it?

Okay, so I'll go first.  What a kickass show!  When I saw the spoiler caps of that one scene of Syd & Vaughn talking; I could tell from her facial expression that she really liked him.. but seeing tonights show of that scene was my FAVORITE. He just paused and was staring at her! He is so in love with her, the silence speaks volumes. And her smile at him before she walked off was priceless.  He so could of kissed her at that moment. He so wanted to and she did too.     Okay a few things.. I don't think I missed the beginning cause it started off with her talking and the flashbacks but I'm thinking I missed the Credits part? Is it the same as last years? Oh and as far as the Will thing goes. I can see how he likes her but I have not seen one scene where it looks like she has any interest in him whatsoever. Except as a really good friend. Did I miss something there? Mom.. I'm not sure how to think of this one. I'm tossed. One way I'm thinking she just turned herself in to work them and get info and ultimately kill them. Then I got to thinking when she said something like You just don't know ... that maybe she is the good guy and maybe Syd will find out that her Dad and the CIA is it? Is also bad? I doubt that. But then again what a cool storyline that could be. With Vaughn being a bad guy. Forbidden between her and him. Anyone else?

Ok...I'll go next. I  it! Bunni, I totally agree with you regarding that scene between Sydney and Vaughn after she saves him. They totally adore each other and if they couldn't tell that...! They just kept smiling at each other like giddy little teenagers!   Ok...got to admit, I do feel kind of bad for Will. How much would that suck to learn this about your bestfriend, get tortured, kidnapped, and then have to give up your life so you don't get killed? Yeah...that has a high suck value! However, he did pursue it when he knew he should of stopped, so... The credits are acutally different. Sydney is not narrating them. Some third person is. The shots are all different. I like it. Now, Mom...I'm not sure what to think about her. And I think most people are going to feel the same way and I'm sure that's what the writers want. I haven't decided exactly who she's working for--if it's really herself or someone else. Why would she kill Khasinau? Why would she let Sydney go and say something about learning the truth or something? The thing that threw me though was turning herself in. Not sure which avenue to go on with that. She's obviously up to something, but what? Next week's episode looks good. Loved the annoucer..."Like mother, like daughter. Like hell." That was awesome! Is it time for screencaps again?

k I just posted this on the picture thread, and since I'm lazy I'm just going to copy it here. I really loved Syd explaining everything that happened to her, and how she handled it to the shrink. I had no idea that was going to happen. I also loved the Will parts. He had me laughing and feeling sorry for him. Of course I LOVED all the Vaughn and especially the Vaughn/Sydney parts. I was hoping aganist hope that they would hug after she saved him. I thought maybe Diana was being mean and just didn't cap that part for us. But then I thought no, I'm sure she wants to live to see another day and wouldn't be that mean. That would have been a perfect moment for a hug though! UGH! The one story I really think I'm going to love this season is Syd and her mom. Man her mom is mean! I also can't wait for Jack to come face to face with her. I'm sure that's going to be a tense moment. I can't wait to see what happens next week. I really hope Wiess(sp?) is okay. I love his character.

I heard somewhere Weiss is the one doing the voiceover for the intro (the one Syd did last season). I like the old way better, but...whatever. As long as the rest of the show is good. SpyMom is EVIL! She just has no heart, and...wow. Telling your own daughter you often wanted to kill her, and shooting her? I know women who just don't want to have kids, but they'd NEVER tell the kids they wish they were dead--and then try to make it happen. Evil. Pure evil. And she's using the CIA for her own ends by turning herself in. I think everyone can see that. And what about the internal hell Jack must be going through? I mean, he thought for a long time his wife was dead, and now he finds out she's not only alive, but that she's The Man. That has GOT to be rocking his world. And he loved her. The betrayal is incredible. I am looking forward to seeing what Victor Garber does with that whole thing. And Syd. When the heat comes off, and things calm down a bit, she's going to have to face a lot of issues and pain. The shrink is going to be one busy women with the Bristows.

Wow, that ep was so amazing!
Her mom...omg, sooo very very evil! She shot her! She shot her own daughter! I dont' get why she shot her minion dude, that was confusing. And she just disappeared and i was all like 'what the...?" cuz that was just so sudden of a departure.
aww man! Poor Will! through out the whole scene w/ him i was just like "poor will!" to my friend Taryn (who i just got hooked on the show).
Francy is now the only one in the trio that has no clue what is going on, I wonder if she'll ever find out.
I loved the Vaughn/Syd scene. It was of The Cuteness.

That SpyMom could be just SO evil blew my mind. I mean, she has NO affection for her daughter? At all? She'd shoot her, and tell her she wanted to kill her when she was a kid ("...it would have been so easy..."). Wow. I knew the woman was evil, but...wow. That takes the cake for me. I hate her. Which is the mark of a good character; dishwater ones don't get a reaction.

I agree, Zookeeper, she really is doing her job well. You know that your suppose to hate her and she's doing such a good job pulling it off, you DO hate her! I mean, what kind of person tells their daughter that she was a tiny child, that she could of killed her so easily? She has some issues! Like...she never should of been a mom! Tonight's episode should be interesting. I kind of want to see if they let us have a peak into what she's been up to and why she left.

Yes, I also think it will be interesting to see what way she plays her cards. I mean her dad says not to trust her, Vaughn says to use her.. and that is interesting because she said last week the only person she truely trusted was Vaughn.
