:fight Is it just me or does Sark have a serious thing for our Heroine? It seems like he's always looking at her like she's this lucious thing he's pursuing. I mean don't get me wrong, he'd kill her in an instand (if he could) if it's what he was ordered to do. It just seems like he's so into working with her. It just seems like she intrigues him a lot, plus she shoots down any and all advances he makes towards her which only makes him try harder. This whole scenario just reminded me a lot of when Spike first arrived on Buffy. He pursued Buffy with every intention of killing her, but there was an underlying attraction there that eventually evolved into a relationship between the two. I honestly don't see Sark and Sydney getting together, but I really wanted to posts this to see if I was crazy or if anyone else agreed with me in some way. It would totally be the girl next door and the bad boy, but damn that would be something to behold. Plus that would totally mess Vaughn. Personally I think he deserves it for going all marriage slut and hooking up and wedding with probably the first girl he saw after sydney "died." :bat

I think if Sark has any interest, it's a 'thrill of the chase' kind of thing. If he actually succeeded, he'd drop her because it wouldn't be fun anymore. But to see him try is the whole fun of it. :grin And, yes, Vaughn is a total marriage slut. I mean, if you truly love someone, you are not over them and married in two years! Heck, even if you mourn a year, that's only a year for dating and marriage, which is rushing it. A six-month mourning leaves you longer to date and marry, but still...

:fight Agreed on the "thrill of the chase thing", however I think if he ever caught her he wouldn't lose all interest. Sydney's a very dynamic and interesting woman. She's not the type of girl that any guy in their right mind would discard. However Sark can't really be considered your average every day guy. Like I mentioned before Sydney intrigues the hell out of Sark. I don't think he truly understands how she can do what she does in the spy world and then return to a relatively normal life on her down time. Also let's face it... Sydney has a lot of mystery as far as Sark's concerned. He knows very little about what makes her tick and what drives her to do the things she does. I also feel that he's not used to failing in his assassination attempts. Probably most of the people Sark has set out to eliminate have ended up dead. But Sydney's different; she 's like a force of nature. She breezes through the door, trades a few blows (or gunshots) and usually manages to outdo him at every turn. I know if I were the guy I'd be freakin obsessed. ok onto the other man in her life. Vaughn has a lot of explaining to do. The only way I'll buy into him marrying someone that quick is if she's a high school sweetheart or college bunk buddy type deal. Someone he's known for a while and lost touch with but then re-connect with and was conforted by in Syd's absence. Yeah it's corny but that's the only deal I could come up with that makes him less of a whore. If this girl turns out to be a perfect stranger then that's just major rebound plus marriage, which is never good. I'll admit it would be cool if the girl turned out to be a spy similiar to anna espinosa and was drugging him into loving her kinda like what Evil Francie was doing to Will to get those codes and secrets. Cause then there could be a whole big cat fight over Vaughn between the super spy women...my luck she'll turn out to be Miss perfect with june clever morals that Sydney can't kill. DAMN YOU JJ! :bat

IMO...I think there is some kind of information about Sydney and Sark that Sydney is clueless on but that Sark may very well know. Make sense? I do agree that he is seriously intrigued by our Sydney. He's like every other guy...he wants what he can have. But I don't think it's sexual. I think he's just fascinated with her as you said, Mr. J. How can this girl go from kicking serious ass to graduating from college or haning out with Will and Francie? It should be interesting as usual to see where JJ is going with the Sark/Sydney dynamic.

:fight Honestly, when I first noticed how much they kept bumping into each other I instantly thought maybe he was her brother or something. But now I haven't a clue. I do totally agree with you Destiny on the "he knows something she doesn't" deal. Even when she's kicking the crap out of him, he always seems very calm and collective, like he knows no matter what she does, he'll still win out in the end. He's definitely my second favorite villain. Second only to Irina Direvko. :bat

I honestly think their connection between them is that they are somehow related. That's the feeling I get. Maybe like brother and sister. I can't see them as lovers or anything like that. We never hear anything about Sark's family or past, so maybe he's Irina's kid. But just speculation.

:fight OH MY GOD, VIC! That would be so freakin' cool. I mean Sydney's family is already messed up enough to be on Springer. I also don't expect them to be anything besides enemies, but the thought of there ever being anything more between them is intiguing. It just seems to me that Sark has had more than one opportunity to kill her and he hasn't. It may have very well been Sloane's plan all along to keep her alive for some dark purpose and Sark was only following orders. Then again Sark never actually saved her either...that I know of. I'm sure if he has someone will pop out of the woodwork with the episode number, title and tacticals of the event. One thing is certain however, there's defintely something between them. :bat

Exactly. Whatever happens, it's clear that there is a connection between them. Cause Sark has had plenty of opportunities to kill or hurt Syd, and he chose not too. Even if Sloane didn't want him to, he still didn't harm Syd before he was working for Sloane. But this season will definitely shed some light on this subject, I can feel it. Especially if Sark is free, that should be very interesting to see to how Syd handles that.

Vicky :)
