Don't compare to Roswell? See, that actually will probably be my biggest issue... How do I work around it? Any tips?

You know.. I'm not really sure. I see alot of people do that. Like they compare Dawsons to 90210 or Alias to Felicity is it? Or Smallville to Roswell, and so on.. I don't really know why this is or how one could fix it.. as I have never really done this myself. I just watch every show differently. I don't think any of them relate to the other. I just enjoy the show that it is. ;)

I just think if one starts comparing one to another it takes away from the show and eventually it's just not "as good".

Just my opinion though. ;)

:drool That's the funniest thing! :lol
You know, ever since I was part of the whole "Max and Liz Forever Soulmates With An Unearthly Connection And A Love That Will Strand All Trails Of Life" thing, I've always seen others and thought about how M/L's was better. :grin It's a bit sad but true. I do that. And I guess I'll have to take a step back and really look at V/S and V/S not M/L... :)

Yeah...that's pretty much what I do too. It's Alias not Roswell. It's Roswell not Dawson. There's not really any show I watch that I relate to another. That's just me.

Me too, I think.
But I'm glad you're able to keep everything straight, Jen. I don't know if I could... :)

Actually, Rebel, I tend to do the same thing with couples on TV now. It wasn't until mid-way through season one of Alias that I realized...'Hey, S/V have this amazing chemistry. They obviously adore each other.' And it just got stronger and stronger as the season continued. They have something like M/L to me, but different. It is a "forbidden" relationship in that Vaughn is her handler and that's a :nono ; Max and Liz had the forbidden thing because he was an alien. But other than that, to me, the similarites end. Roswell revolved around the M/L relationship. Alias actually doesn't. It's based more on Sydney and her family more than anything. It wasn't until more recently that they started slipping in more "intimate" scenes with S/V. Ok...I'm babbling. I'll stop now. :grin

No, I understand what you're saying... I noticed too that they have a very different thing going for them.

I much prefer S/V to the hormone-driven stuff on Roswell.

You HAVE to see it. Basically, the quarantine S/V because they may of gotten a deadly virus and this is the best scene!

I don't know. I just can't say one's better than the other. Roswell season one in all it's Glory kicked ass! I'll never forget the "true" M&L.

But I am also in just in love with the S&V. They really rock. Probably because I'm dying over here for something to happen. First the watch; now tickets.. Wow. :thud
