No, don't be! I was so surprised. I just thought I'd do some looking on the web to see if I could find out a release date and it said 2000 on imb! I was totally surprised! I was like, "but Bunni said it was a new release!" The video place probably put it there because Alias is a hit and they wanted to push the movie.

I need to go back to the video store and see if they have it in the older stuff. Romance? Comedy? Drama?

I should go to the video store today and look for it. Playing hooky from work. But I don't know if I actually want to leave the house!

Back in September sometime, I had a...discussion (yea, that's it. a heated discussion) with someone over how they thought I was copying them and trying to be them, and explaining why would take too long. But one thing that came up was that I had mentioned Moulin Rouge in one of my posts (ie, We can't watch Moulin Rouge! It's sinful and we'll go to hell! *dripping sarcasm*), and this girl thought I'd seen it, and I said I hadn't, and she accused me of name dropping. I said I'd heard people talking about it and it sounded interesting, and she's like, "And what if my taste is terrible, and I'm just an Ewan fan?" As if it was a BAD thing that I heard her, who I'd respected until that point, say it was a good film, and I said to myself, "Self, I think we'll check it out." I am ever so glad that people here have enough of a life that deciding to watch a movie because someone reccomends it is not considered a bad thing worthy of derision. *deep sigh*

Yeah, well you did notice that I put that movie up in our store as well, didn't ya?

But I could always rent it again and send it to you and then you could mail it back and I should only have to pay the late fees once because I get them for 5 days.. so if I pay a late fee I get the movie for 10 days. I'm sure we could manage that. Yes, this is way far out there, but just trying to help and you know I would!

See I was thinking.. it depends on how much the movie is to buy cause it maybe cheaper that way. You know like if the movie is 18 dollars and if I rented it for 10 days it would be 8 dollars plus shipping back and forth (priority mind you- but might not even have to do that) would be 6 dollars and see it still comes out cheaper.

See if I could get my VCR to work right (yeah right) and hook it up to the other one (been trying for over a year now ) then I could just dub it for you. But this is not so easy and could still take me another year to get it to work.

yeah I remember there was something strange about it. (would explain why you can't find it) but that 22 dollars is for the DVD and I only put the DVD because the VHS was 45 dollars!

So if you can't find it, just yell at me and we'll work something out- so funny cause I saw both copies still sitting up there when I went back tonight.
