Watch With Kristin--and Alias Antes Up Posted on Friday, February 21 @ 06:34:29 CST by Cathy
We are only posting Alias related info to read Kristin's full article click on the source link at the end of this post
First You Say It, Then You Do It: Such was the case for Michael Vartan of Alias , who admitted he was a little nervous when he found out about the massive changes in store for the Super Bowl episode, including his character, Vaughn, finally hooking up with Sydney (Jennifer Garner).
"JJ Abrams told us about 10 days before, and part of me thought, Oh f--k," Vartan said. "But on the same token, it's about time. Jennifer and I joked about this all the time that after a while, we just didn't buy the fact that these characters wouldn't hook up when they meet at all these clandestine places...unless he's gay. So, it was necessary for it to happen."
Still, Vartan, who was in attendance at Sunday's Hair and Makeup Awards (where Alias won two awards--yippee!), hinted it won't be smooth sailing for Sydney and him. "There are a lot of issues there. Her mother killed my father. There are a lot of skeletons to come out of the closet. We already shot our first argument...so it should be good stuff."
As long as it ends with makeup sex, I'm there.

Online columnist Watch With Kristin reported. Series creator J.J. Abrams was able to save Will from extinction, despite network wishes to the contrary, the site reported. But Merrin Dungeywhose character, Francie, was killed and replaced with an evil double who wound up shot at the end of the seasonis not expected to return, the site reported. A new actor named Archie Kao is reportedly on board for a few episodes this season. Lena Olin (Irina Derevko) earlier told SCI FI Wire that she hopes to return as well.

June 25, 2003 Abrams on hunt in ABC series After exploring the lives of college students with "Felicity" and "Alias," J.J. Abrams has set his sights on the world of bounty hunters for his new TV series project. "Felicity" co-star Greg Grunberg is attached to star in the show, now in development at ABC for fall 2004, which Touchstone TV is producing. Additionally, Grunberg, who has been recurring on "Alias" since 2001 -- playing agent Eric Weiss -- has been upped to a regular for the stylish spy series' upcoming third season. Details about the new show are still sketchy, but it has been described as a one-hour ensemble drama revolving around two bounty hunters, with Grunberg playing the male lead. From Alias Media:
Which TV Shows and Stars Rocked Your World? Results Are In!
By Watch With Kristin
You've got excellent taste, home fries.
The results are in for this year's Tater Tops Awards, where tube fans and couch potatoes get the chance to weigh in on TV's best and worst. Nearly 50,000 of you voted, and once again, you've proven you are masterful tube connoisseurs--not to mention that you have an affection bordering on obsession when it comes to a certain fair-haired Slayer and multicolor-haired spy.
This year, Buffy the Vampire Slayer received the most wins--eight total, including Breakout Star, Favorite Funnygirl and Show You'll Miss the Most. Coming in at a close second is ABC's Alias with a total of six wins, including Best Fight and Best (mmmmmm) Kiss. See, told ya you had good taste.
You also gave big props to newbies like Everwood and American Dreams, paid homage to now gone Dawson's Creek and wisely panned the likes of A.U.S.A., Mr. Personality and (shudder!) Are You Hot?
We can only hope Emmy voters take notice of what we fans want this year--since, much to our dismay and hair-pulling angst, many of the viewer faves get jilted on the Emmy ballot year after year. Nominations are coming; they'll be announced bright and early on July 17, and in my next column, I'll run down my picks for who's likely to go the distance.
In the meantime, I'll be taking a week off to stock up on Rogaine (see aforementioned hair-pulling angst), deliver Golden Taters to the winners and prepare for our next chat, Monday, July 7, at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT (we're off for the Fourth of July).
I'll have all the scoop that's fit to dish on shows like Sex and the City, ER and Alias. Plus, you'll get more scoop on the tops of the delectable Taters.

I have to add an OT mention for the crying scene...how Dawson Creek's -- having Jen die. MAN, that killed! Even, when I hadn't watched it for ages, see her die...you still could feel the chemistry with them all from way back when.
