Especially considering ALL my whining, yes... amazing. I guess I was never really off the VSR bandwagon, like I thought.

Did you feel the sameway? Or did it take you longer to feel that way? I admit I'm very passionate and rather bi-polar when it comes to these kind of shows. I can be all giddy at first and ready to kick someone's ass in the next instant. LOL
I'm not like that with anything else though. Just tv shows. LOL

If not 5 minutes in...shortly there after. I spent most of the show thinking..."this is it?"

Oh, me too. What a total disappointment. I actually cried at the end because I was so pissed off. LOL I mean how could we get that clunker for a finale? Everyone said they were so proud. HOW? I was ashamed to even be able to say I watched that whole damn show. Grrrrr!
I felt so let down and betrayed, but then I've felt that way for awhile, so they kept it consistant, I guess. LOL

I teared up when Jack died. I was more shocked than anything about him. Other than that...I didn't cry. I was really surprised. I figured I'd be sobbing.

Yeah, Jack's death had me tearing up too. With real emotion. LOL
The other crying was my rage. I cry when I'm pissed; I cry when I'm happy; I cry when I'm sad. I cry a lot. LOL

Yet, Alias did nothing for you... How sad. After all the years we wasted on this show...

Well, after this past season, maybe not amazing. LOL But disappointing... after all the years, we wasted being emotionally invested in these stories/characters, to be so letdown.
Idiots.
Again, I ask WHY were they so proud of the ending? What was to be proud of? Well, I suppose I get JG because if it weren't for Alias, she wouldn't be deemed good enough a name for BA to latch on to as his redeemer.
Er, okay... I'll stop with the bitter. LOL

That's what I was wondering...why were they all so impressed with the ending? However, I'm sure the studio pretty much told them to go out and tell everyone how much it rocked. Which is sad, because then part of you thinks it might actually rock...and then it totally didn't. BIG letdown!

Not sure why since the show was over and wasn't coming back, so honesty wouldn't really mean jack. LOL It wax crap and if they didn't think that way, it's just more proof of the diconnect between us fans and the show/actors.

There really seemed to be alot of that disconnection the past few years. I wonder what changed so drastically that TPTB decided to not listen.

I think it all goes back to MV/JG's real life hookup. At that point, ABC forced a breakup of the VSR and ever since then, the show just sucked. Even non 'shippers weren't wild about the way it happened. Then you had JJ, et all convinced the character of Lauren was brilliant and they kept feeding us all that BS about how wonderful it would be. Somewhere along the line, he lost sight of the fans and what made the show what it was.
Which, to me, is inexcusable, but that's usually happens with television shows anyways.
So, are you watching anything this Summer? I'm watching The Hills on MTV. LOL
