It's official! Actor Charlie Hunnam will portray Christian Grey, and actress Dakota Johnson have been cast as Anastasia Steele in the new movie 50 Shades of Grey based on the book by E.L. James. And for those that didn't already know the book was based on a Fan Fiction entitled Masters of the Universe, about Twilight's Edward & Bella.

I've read both the ff and the book. Crazy! LOL A LOT of fans are really upset about the castings choices and I think I even saw that there is a petition to get them changed! How crazy is that?!?!

I've heard that too... and while, I will say- that I'm not so sure Charlie was the "right" choice for "Christian" because, he plays such a "good guy" and I just can't imagine him being this deep dark asshole for lack of a better word, I honestly felt like "Damon" character almost fit this profile to a T and it should have been him. In any case, I hated the book, had no interest in watching this movie... but now that Charlie has been cast- I will actually watch it, as I absolutely LOVE Jax, and so... maybe it is a good thing then? :dunno
