Glad you felt the same way Jen...at least I now know, I'm not the only one! I'd love to answer some of your questions, but I saw it the day it came out...so, I'll have to watch it again. I'm sure there was alot that happened and the reasons behind it that we didn't even see because that would of made the movie ten times longer...but it would of been nice to see some of the reasoning behind the decisions besides the "I'm the boss, just do it" reason.
Plus...I love :love Josh Hartnett...he's another Minnesota baby, so I got to love the movie! :lol

Okay, I watched A Beautiful Mind tonight and it was awesome! :clap :clap Very slow-going movie, but very interesting. I didn't even realize it was based on a true story and the actual man lives 20 minutes from me to this day. Wow. Very cool. I felt like even with difficulties one can overcome them and still succeed in life. Which was proven true in his case. I was so thrilled seeing him get the Nobel Prize at the end! Of course I :love :love happy endings.

It was really powerful, I'm not sure how else to describe it. :grin

I know what you mean, Jen. My brother downloaded it a couple weeks ago and I was glued to my computer! I knew going into it that it was based on a true story, but I didn't know all the details of his life. I was floored. To know that someone with such a major problem could overcome it to a degree to succeed as much as he has is astounding! Plus, I think it's cool that I've walked on the same campus that he has accomplished so much at. Too cool!

It's funny you say that. :lol In the movie the school just looked so nice! In real life, IMO, that school is all run-down and in need of a major makeover. :lol I guess that's the power of the movies. :rollin

It's been awhile since I've been on the campus, plus I was like 15 when I was there...so I just thought it was cool that I was on a college campus! LOL
Planning on seeing Men In Black 2 this weekend...it looks really funny. I'll let you guys know.

Cory, I know what you mean. I felt the same way when I toured the classrooms at Harvard. Nice! :grin

Oh and you didn't give us a report on Minority report yet did you? How was that?

I can't wait till this Tuesday for Harts War to come out at Blockbuster (of course I say that , but I always go to Hollywood video) :lol Oh and A Walk To Remember, but I really like to finish the book before I rent it. :lol :lol We'll see.

Hey, and I just noticed Kristal got her 3rd drink! Congrats on that. :lol :drink :drink :drink

I just saw Bend it Like Beckham at the cinema. It's a quirky English film about an Indian girl who wants to play football (soccer). Worth seeing on a cheap day at the movies, otherwise get it on video. :grin

Ok...since I forgot to give my thoughts on Minority Report when I first saw it...I thought it was pretty good. Anything with Tom Cruise makes me happy! :grin Actually, the story is pretty interesting...kind of makes you think of what the future really holds. I suggest checking it out.
MIB2 I just saw this weekend...LOL! It was pretty funny! The first one was better...they usually are...but this was worth seeing IMO. Frank, the dog, and the worms just rock! I love the worm guys! They are just too funny! Plus, I agree...I was really expecting the ending, but it made sense when you thought about it for a bit.

Alright...I saw Austin Power's this weekend...LMAO! OMG! It was hysterical! Seth Green...love him to death! (Plus, he's hot!) Mike Meyers does an awesome job at playing all his roles and there are alot of famous cameos! The whole place was laughing like crazy through the whole movie! I really recommend seeing it...especially if you liked the first two movies!

Bourne Identity: OMG, I love this movie. Matt Damon did such a great job, the action scenes where great, and there was some romance mixed into it too. I recommend it.

Eight Legged Freaks: Eh, it was ok movie, it was pretty funny but really predictable.

A Walk to Remember: I LOVE this movie! 'nuff said.

Bourne Identity and A Walk to Remember...I :love both these movies! I haven't seen Eight Legged Freaks...don't really look like something I'd want to see. But Matt Damon was so yummy in Bourne Identity!

That is the main reason why I saw it! Spy movies generally aren't my type of movies but it was really cool!

Signs: REALLY creepy, it was funny at times, and i nearly cried at a few scenes (though that doesn't say much, i cry at the smallest things in movies), and it had some funny moments. It was a bit too long at times, but still a good movie.

Austin Powers in Goldmember: SOOOOO FUNNY! I want to see this again! SO HILARIOUS! It might not be everyone's type of humor, its mainly "bathroom humor", as my friend called it, but its FUNNY "bathroom humor"!

Kristal, I actually started a thread on the whole signs thing in Forbidden Tales the other day. I'm still not sure on the whole issure, but would love to know your opinions on the way they portrayed it in the movie.. oh and go ahead, spoiler it for me since I don't get to see it for like 9 months. :lol :lol

Okay, onto other news, I saw the most awesome movie a few nights ago. Dragonfly with Kevin Costner. I recommend it. It was amazing. Loved the ending. Scared me to pieces in some scenes. :lol Overall, go rent it! :clap :clap

Is it me or do I see too many movies? :lol

XXX: It was really cool, lots of action and explosions. The stunts were so great. Plus, Vin Diesel...yum :grin . I wanna see the sequel! :lol

Master of Disguise: I didn't really like it, it had its funny moments, but a lot of the jokes were repeated over and over again throughout the movie and just lost their appeal. It was really short, only about 1 hour 15 min. and the credits seemed to be longer than the movie. During the credits little funny scenes would play and just when you think its over, more scenes play, and then Dana Carvey actually says "What are you still doing here? the movie is over. bye." and then it fades, but then MORE scenes play!
