Title: Disaster Zone

Disclaimer: I guess I own Emily, and Scott, BUT I own none of the others. I assume they own themselves.
Summary: This fic takes place in the year 2018, and Maria has a 16 year old daughter. It's mostly about her daughter (EMILY) Finding out she has some unusual powers and that she may not be completely human. Kivar comes back to Earth to kill the heir of the king and he's planning on destroying everyone or thing that gets in his way.
~Chapter 1~
"Half the town is gone...Completely gone...Evacuate your homes as soon as possible. We are under attack, I repeat we are under attack." A young quaky voiced reporter says.
Emily flips off the TV, grabs her blue navy back pack and slips it on her back then walks outside of her old musty motel room to find people franticly running down the streets of Roswell New Mexico. It looked liked a disaster zone out there. "My God." She says as her eyes widen in horror. She begins walking down the side walk just as a white van with tented windows pulls up beside her.
Just then Jim Valenti steps out of the driver seat and runs over to her. "We've been looking everywhere for you!" He says in a frantic tone. "We need to find some food, water, and blankets."
"Well, I have some blankets in here." She says while walking back into her room. "Oh I have some brownies, and a half eaten sandwich in my backpack."
Valenti looks down at the twin sized bed. "Kyle, Max, come help me with this!" He yells.
The van door slides open and suddenly Max and Kyle run into the room.
"The mattress, we can use it." Valenti says.
Kyle, Max, and Valenti pick up the very worn mattress and carry it out side laying it in the back of the seat-less van. Emily gathers up all the blankets and tosses them in onto the mattress.
"Ok, now get in. We have to get down to the Crashdown for food before they find us." Valenti says.
"But..." Emily begins.
"No time for buts, just get in." He says while starting the van.
Emily looks in the van to see Isabel leaning her head on Kyle's shoulder, and Max sitting alone. "Looks crowded, maybe I'll just hitch a ride."
"Na, just get in." Valenti says.
"Fine, Fine." She gets in sliding the door shut. Just as the van begins pulling away she glances out the window to see Michael turning the corner walking right towards them. "STOP!" She yells.
Valenti screeches the brakes. "Why? What's wrong?" He asks.
"It's Michael." She takes her back pack off, opens the door then runs up to Michael. "Michael!" She yells catching his attention.
"Emily!" He grabs her into a hug. "I was so worried I wouldn't find you in time."
"I'm fine now." She smiles.
"Come-on, we have to get out of here before they catch up to us." He says.
"Right, Valenti's going to take us." She says while leading him to the van, they both get in the back then Valenti drives to the Crashdown. "Great." Emily says in disappointment.
"What?" Michael asks.
She places her hands on each side of his face then turns it in the direction of Maria's car. "Mom's here." She says.
Valenti turns around to face everyone in the back. "Ok, Max you get Liz. Kyle takes these jugs." He says while handing him a few empty jugs. "And get as much water as you can carry, Isabel go with Kyle, Michael and I will get the food." Max, Kyle, Iz, and Michael exit the van.
Emily watches them leave. "What about me?"
"You stay here." He says while fixin to get out.
"But I could help, really I want too."
He sighs. "Fine, but stay close to me and Michael."
She smiles then hops out of the van to catch up with Michael Just then she hears...
"Emily!"
They both stop and turn around to see her father leaning up against Maria's silver Porsche with his arms crossed.
"Get away from h-It right now!" he yells in a very harsh tone.
"No way in hell." She yells back.
"Your not staying with him or you'll end up..."
"End up what? Alien?" She shoots back.
"No, Dead."
Maria runs out side of the Crashdown when she sees Emily. "Emily! Honey. I thought we'd never find you!" She runs over pulling her into a hug.
"Get off me." She pushes her mother off then follows Michael inside.
"Scott, get her bag." Maria says.
Scott slides open the side door of the van and grabs her navy blue Adidas backpack then tosses it in the back of Maria's car. About five minutes later Max and Liz walk out side then get into the van not even paying any attention to Scott and Maria. Followed by Kyle and Isabel carrying jugs of water, then Valenti, Michael, and Emily walk out carrying big bags of food, but before Emily can reach the van Scott reaches out and grabs her lower arm. "Your not going with them" He says.
"Your not my boss." She snaps then shakes her arm loose. "And yes I am going with them." She continues to walk.
"I'm your father..."
Emily sits the food in the van then turns to face him. "Oh Please! Your not my father, your just my mother's boyfriend." She interrupts.
"Danmit Emily!"
"Michael is more of a father to me then you will ever be." She says in a stern voice.
"Emily, Just get in the damn car."
"No." She places her hands on her hips.
"Emily, Please just get in the car. All we want is for you to be safe." Maria says while walking toward her daughter.
"Michael can keep me safer then the two of you."
Scott raises up his hand about to smack her but Michael grabs his arm "Hit her and you'll be sorry."
"Oh so now you'r threatening me?" Scott asks.
"It's not a threat, It's a promise I made." Michael glances over at Emily then turns again facing Scott.
"What?" Scott scrunches up his face in confusion.
Michael takes a step closer to him. "I promised Emily that if anyone EVER hurt her in any way they would have to deal with me."
"What are you gonna do? Use your alien powers on me?" He laughs. "Oh, how scary."
Maria steps in between the two. "Michael, please you can't take her."
He turns looking at her. "Look, she choose Maria. I can keep her safe I promise."
"I know but..."
"Mom please just let me go." Emily says while standing next to Michael.
"Look, your only 16. I'm your mother, you need to come with me."
"You may be my mother, but you didn't raise me or take care of me for the past 5 years, Michael did." She snaps.
"But that's because you ran away, I looked every where for you Emily."
"Of course I ran away, I can't stand living with you and-and Scott.' Her voice starts raising louder and louder. "I want to be with Michael I love him, I have this connection with him... I only feel safe when I'm around him. I feel more like he's my father then him." She says while glaring at Scott. "I-I hate you both!" Emily runs off down the street.
Scott goes flying across the sidewalk untill his back hits the Crashdown wall knocking him out.
"Em!" Michael yells then begins running down the street after her.
"Em? Y-you call her Em?" Maria whispers in jealousy not even noticing Scott laying unconious next to her, then hollers. "Emily!"
Emily looks back behind her to see Michael gaining on her, then right before she can turn around she runs into somebody... not just anyone, it was someone she recognized. Someone she knew. She looks up to see Kivar in his true form. He looks almost human she thinks to herself. "It's you..." She whispers. She knows she has to run, she wants to run but-but she can't. It's like he has her under his control.
"Leave her alone!" Michael shouts.
"Come any closer and she's dead." Kivar places his hand on her neck as if he's going to break it.
Michael stops dead. "What do you want from us?" He asks.
"Not us, just her." He says while backing up with Emily.
"Wh-Why would you want her?"
"Stupid boy." A familiar voice says behind him.
He turns to see Tess walking towards him. "Tess..." He begins in a loud whisper.
"You guessed right." She smiles evilly.
"Why do you want her? She has nothing to do with any of this, her parents are both human... she's completely human and innocent."
Tess laughs. "Aw is our precious king scared?"
"K---King?"
"Kinda unbelievable isn't it, how someone so dumb could be the king of an entire planet." She begins to circle him. "And your wrong about the kid, she's not completely human."
"Wha? But her parents are human... how?"
She stops and stares up at him. "Do I have to spell it out for you?" She laughs. "The kid is yours."
"What?"
"THHE KIIDD ISS YOOUURS!" She says very slowly.
"So she's alien..."
"Well, duh!" Tess walks over to Kivar and wraps her arm around him.
"Please just take me, let her go."
"We came to kill the heir of the king, not the actual king... well ex king if every thing goes as planned." Tess smiles up at Kivar.
"What are you planning on doing?"
Tess walks back over to Michael. "Look we screwed up, we got the two of you mixed up."
"You mean Max and Me."
"We thought Max was our king, He was supposed to be the king but when I got pregnant it wasn't the king's child."
"How-"
"Shhh..." She puts her finger on his lips. "No more questions."
"So, if we kill the king's child." Smiles. "Kivar and I will finally rule the planet."
"I'm not letting you..."
"Stupid boy." She throws him. "You can't stop us... your too late." Kivar and Tess turn to leave with Emily.
"Emily!" Maria comes running toward them just as Michael gets up off the ground.
Kivar turns sharply as Emily's trying to get away when he hears Maria it causes him to throw Emily. She lands on a metal beam causing it to cut through her back going out her stomach. "D-a...ddy." She whispers in a weak voice as she reaches her arm up into the air then it goes limp.
"NNNOOOOOO!" Michael runs over to her and falls down beside her, he reaches out grabbing her hand.
Maria runs over to Emily and sits down beside Michael. "Emily, honey your going to be ok." She says in a frantic voice with tears streaming down her face. About that time Valenti, Kyle, Max, and Isabel show up beside them.
"What happened?" Valenti asks out of breath.
Michael looks up at Valenti
"Da-" Emily begins to speak but can't. It hurts to bad...
Michael looks down at the blood soaking up her white cotton tank-top, he then turns to Max."You have to do something Maxwell, You have to heal her... Please.."
Max bends down thinking it's too late. "Ya, Help me get her too the van."
Max, Kyle, Valenti, and Michael lift her up as the beam gets pulled out she begins to spit out blood.
"Should we stop them now or give them a little head start?" Kivar smirks.
"I say we wait, just a little longer." Tess watches them carry Emily to the van.
They reach the van then slowly lay Emily down on the mattress "Maxwell..."
Maria reaches the van about ready to get in then Emily rolls her eyes towards her and glares then the van door slides shut fast and the doors lock. Everyone looks around wondering what just happened, not knowing Emily has that kind of power.
Max pulls up Emily's shirt, reaches his hand down to her bare stomach about ready to press his hand down when... The wound completely heals it's self.
"W-That was weird." Kyle says. "I'm gonna need some serious meditation after this."
Isabel gasps. "What just happened? I-I thought she was human."
"I don't know." Max looks up at Michael causing Valenti, Isabel, and Kyle to look up at him. "Michael...?"
"She's alien." Michael sighs.
They all whip their heads around looking down at the now very stable Emily.
She opens up her eyes wondering why everyone's staring down at her. "What?"

I just loved that you brought Alex back and everything was a mindwarp. 
It was a perfect ending with everyone together. 
I'm just sorry it's taken me so long to read this. If only Roswell could of really ended this way.
