As you may remember from earlier in my story I wrote Micheal and Liz as brother and sister.

Part 22

She went to her room and packed up some of her dresses and was on her way back home to Avatar and was surprised to find Michael in her senate complex apartment he admired the blue and purple around the room with the walls painted bluish purple the carpet was a light blue color and so were the bed covers but the couple chairs we're wooden with blue padding and the furniture was navy and pillows on the two couches were light blue color that had pictures of Her, Liz and Alex and pictures of the eight of them together that either Jim or Philip and Diane took of them.

Michael said "I love what you've done to your apartment." Michael picked up a picture of the eight of them that Amy had taken of them at there Prom and then set it back down "Thank you!" Michael said "Hay." She smiled and kissed him "Hay, what are you doing here?" "I wanted to see if your senate session was finally done. I've missed you." "I've missed you to. I've been so busy with the senate session that I haven't been able to see you, talk to you, or think about you even. Can you forgive me?" Maria asked Michael.

He took her hands in his and said "You know I can. You have a very important job being a senator and speaking for Max and Liz and all of Avatar." "Thank you Michael I promise when we get back to Avatar I'll make sure we have some time together." "I cant wait to get out of this dress and into a more comfortable dress." Maria said packing her dresses and things while Michael watched.

"How did you know were to find me?" "Wild guess." Michael said and then went towards her and kissed her sweetly Maria kissed him back and they kissed passionately for a while and then Maria said "I have to finish packing Michael then when we head back to the palace we can spend some time together and maybe go out on a nice romantic date. That is if Max and Liz will give me the night off." "You've been in the senate session long enough I'm sure they will besides Theresa and Jason are in the roles of King and Queen right now." "Why is there a threat of some kind?"

"Yes, some of Kivar's men are trying to overthrow Max and Liz again. Didn't they mention that in your senate session?" "No, they didn't, but are you serious? There violating the treaty." "I know so our volunteer officers are trying to find them and bring them to justice in order to keep the peace, war is going to be Max and Liz's' last resort." "I don't think your people want to get into another war Michael." "I know."

Maria packed a couple more dresses and Michael said "Are you ready to go?" "Yup. Let's get to the speeder bus." Michael and Maria headed out of the senate chamber Michael noticed she was having difficulty carrying her two bigger bags he said "Here let me help you."

She smiled and said "Thank you Michael" and Michael took her two big bags and the two of them got to the speeder bus and got onto the one that would go to Avatar, and sat down next to each other.

Michael said "So how does it feel now that the session is over?" "It's a relief. I mean I like being a senator and all it's just that sometimes it gets very stressful but my sniffing oils help." Michael let out a small chuckle and said "Your still into your aromatherapy?" "Yeah I think when we get home I'm going to use one of my sniffing oils."

Part 23

The speeder bus arrived at Avatar and Michael said "Were back!" "Great!" Michael and Maria sat up and before Maria took the heavy bags Michael had already taken them.

They walked through the courtyard garden with Maria talking about the senate session. "Not everyone in the senate was happy about doing our government like America." "I kinda figured that," "but unlike it is in America the senator is going to have limited terms." "When is your next senate session?" "I'm not sure but their going to hold it in America." "Can they do that?"

"Don't you remember that when we were in Roswell in New York City there was a meeting of alien leaders?" "Oh yes and we met the dupes." "Yup. That's going to be sort of nice to be back on earth, but I'm really starting to love it here. It's so beautiful." Maria said looking around at the beautiful green landscape and water and waterfalls in the courtyard and tumbling down from the palace walls "I know."

"Some of the other senators still don't trust me though. They would've preferred it if Liz had chosen one of there own." Michael placed his arm around her and said "Don't worry about it Maria your a great senator. The ones that are against you know that but they just don't want to admit that an earthling is better then them. Our people consider people from earth as lower beings and less intelligent then them." "I know Michael."

They walked into the palace and was immediately greeted by Max and Liz's' decoys, Theresa said using Liz's' voice "Welcome back senator DeLuca." "Thank you your highness." Maria said bowing to them as did Michael even though they knew it was Jason and Theresa in the roles of king and queen and then they went down the hall towards there room in the palace since they were married now.

Maria said "It's so good to be home." She went to her vanity and opened the right hand drawer and got out her lavender sniffing oil. She opened it and ran it in front of her nose as she let the soothing sent get rid of her stress. The room here was a lovely the walls were painted a cream color as well as the carpet and the furniture was a light vanilla color and in one corner she had paper and Alex's guitar so she could still write songs.

Theresa went to Liz and said "Lysandra." "What is it Theresa?" "Senator DeLuca is back." "Thank you Theresa." Liz said she went down the hall towards Maria's room she knocked on the door and was let in. Liz said "Welcome back Maria." "Thank you Liz." "Why don't you and Michael take a couple weeks off." "Your serious?" "Yes, you've been in the session for three months you deserve some time off." "Thank you Liz." "No problem."

Liz left the room she walked down the halls of the palace she missed her parents very much, as did Isabel and Max. She had found out a couple months ago that their children were dead Max and Liz shared their moment of grief but now she was pregnant again. They didn't say it but they did, once she arrived back with Max he noticed the look on her face and said taking her hand and caressing her cheek "What's wrong Liz?"

"Nothing Max I just miss Mom and dad." "I know Isabel and I do also." She rested her head on his chest and said "I wish we could see them." "I know but we can't. Not until are term is up." Max said running his fingers through her hair. "I know that Max I just wish I could see them." "Max I have something else to tell you." "What?"

Part 24

Micheal and Maria were sitting in one of the many medow area's of Antar that had two big waterfalls that tumbled over each other and into a lake. Maria said "I'm loving this place. It's very beautiful here. Michael how did you know about this place?" "A couple weeks ago I was taking a sort of tour of my new world and I came across this place. I wanted to bring you here as soon as your senate session was over." "How better to do that then with a picnic." Maria said.

"I know." They were sitting down eating their lunch enjoying each others company. Later that afternoon after they had returned the palace. Maria was alone in their room Micheal and Max were visiting some of the peoples places in Antar checking on things and also preparing for that night. Liz knocked on the door for some reason Maria had summond her their for something or other.

She opened the door and noticed that Liz wasn't dressed in her usual queenly atire she was dressed as a simple servant girl "Liz come on in." "Hay Maria. I'm glad that your back." "So am I, I've missed Micheal so much. As well as you and Max. Why aren't you in your queen esemble?"

Liz sat down on the couch and said "Theres danger. Jason and Theresa are taking on the role of king and queen currently until some of Kivar's left over men who are trying to overpower us are caught." "Oh boy I've missed a lot." "Don't worry about it just make sure no one knows about this Michael, Isabel and you know but no one else in the palace or on the planet knows." "Okay I'll keep it queit." "Whats with all the clothes around here?" "Oh Michael and I are going out for a night on the town. I want to spend some time with him. I've been so busy with my senate sessions that we haven't been able to be together and we want to take advantage of the time we have before the next senate session." "What are you two going to do?"

"The usual; dinner, dancing coming home have good old fasion sex. What do you think would look better. This or this." Maria said holding up a dark blue dress and red dress. "I like the dark blue the best." "So do I." "I have something else to tell you." "What?" "First of all you know how I told you about Max's and my children?" "Yes! Are they still alive? I can't wait to meet them." Liz looked down and said "You won't be able to, they died a month before we returned. We asked Leaonie about them and she told us sadly that Kivar had tortured and then killed them a month before we returned." Liz said sadly.

"Oh my God Liz." Maria said and sundenally her concerned turned towards her best friend she put her dresses down and sat down next to Liz and placed her arm around her "I'm so sorry girlfriend." "Thank you Maria. Max and I feel like it's all our fault." "Liz Evans you know thats not true." "Yes it is Maria, if only we had returned a month earlier then we did we might've been able to save them. Thats the bad news the good news is that I'm pregnant. Max and I are going to have a baby an heir." "Oh my god! That is so great Liz." Liz smiled and said "Yeah I suppose it is, but Max and I will forever live with the guilt of losing our first children." "I don't know what to tell you Liz, maybe you should have a talk with your twin brother."

Liz made a small laugh as did Maria "I still find it hard to believe that you and Michael are brother and sister and not just any brother and sister like Max and Isabel only you and Michael are twins, obviously faternal because Micheal is taller then you." Liz made another small laugh and said "I know I think I'm starting to get use to that now. Michael got use to it right away." "Well of course Liz I mean he's always hoped he'd have some sort of family and when he found out you were his family I think it gave him a sense of completness and belonging." "The strange thing is somehow I always knew he was my brother. I always felt I was connected to him in someway in a way that neither Max or Isabel understood. I'm sorry..." Liz said chuckiling a little "that probilly doesn't make sense to you."

Michael came into the room he said "I'm sorry was I interupting something." "No, Michael I was just about to leave." "Okay." Liz got up after Michael gave her a kiss on the cheek Liz smiled and hugged him. She was about to leave and said "Micheal I want to talk to you tomarow." "I was thinking that same thing." "Okay then I guess I'll see you tomarow." Micheal and Liz shared a hug and Liz gave him a kiss on the cheek and said "Have fun you two." "We will. Don't wait up." Maria said and Liz left.
