I'm sure this topic has come up plenty of times, but I just wanted to know if anyone likes the same books as me.
My favorite books are:
His Dark Materials Trilogy (The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, The Amber Spyglass) by Philip Pullman. These books are very.. science-fiction, but not in the way you would think. They are somewhat controversial because an underlying theme is Science vs. Religion.
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, Life The Universe and Everything, So Long And Thanks for All the Fish, Mostly Harmless) by Douglas Adams. Wow, these books are so funny! They're kind of science-fiction too, but they are hilarious! =D
Those are my favorite books, but I also liked Catcher in the Rye, Lord of the Flies, 1984, Brave New World, and what I have read of the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Wow. Meowth. I honestly can say I haven't read any of those. :( Shame on me. :shake

My favorites? I don't think I could have a favorite. Problem is I've loved just about every book I've read. And I don't usually read it more than once anyways because I'm always searching for a new one to read. :lol :lol Nope, they are all my favorite. :grin

The Moorchild by Eloise McGraw. It's actually a children's book, won the Newberry Award, but I first read it about 5 years ago.

Witch Child by Celia Rees.

The Hitchhiker's Guide books.

The Harry Potter books by JK Rowlings.

Christy by Catherine Marshall.
