Well, I'm now reading the new John Grisham novel The King of Torts. I just love John Grisham. I was going to read Crash Into Me next, but I can't find it! Too many books!

Working on Book 4 of 'Lord of the Rings', which is solely about Frodo, Sam, and Gollum as they head into Mordor. The rest of the Fellowship (sans Boromir, as he's unable to travel) and the Riders of the Mark were Book 3. I want more of the Riders. I like tall, strong blonde men who are ace with horses, loyal, dedicated, and who have the Three Musketeers mentality: All for one, and one for all. :So don't get one mad, or you'll have the other fifty (or is it 100?) or so gunning for your bum as well.

I just read the book "I'd Rather Laugh" by Linda Richardson in one day. It was great. Lots of great points about life in general. OF course it did give me a terrible nightmare last night. But my favorite line out of the whole book was this: "I just want to be fine." "You just want to be fine?" "Yes." "Do you know what fine is?" Silence... "It stands for Fucked Up, Insecure, Narotic and Emotional" God, I love being fine.

Zook, I didn't know there was a fourth one! My dad, who is a die-hard Tolkien fan, never mentioned that one to me. I've been trying to read the trilogy, but I've been working on it since Christmas and I'm still not through. Quote: Quote: "I just want to be fine." "You just want to be fine?" "Yes." Ditto on that!

I wondered why that quote sounded so familiar! They used that in The Italian Job which I just saw this weekend! I thought it was great!

So The Italian Job was good? My friend Erin and I have been wanting to see that. She is love with Edward Norton--she says she's going to marry him.

Books 1 and 2 make up 'Fellowship of the Rings'. Books 3 and 4 make up 'The Two Towers'. Books 5 and 6 make up 'Return of the King'. 'Lord of the Rings' was origininally one long novel with six books contained inside of it, but because there was a paper shortage during the war, they split it into three sections, which is what we now call the Trilogy.

How neat! My sister's boyfriend just finished taking a class at NC State on LOTR. He thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything I know about LOTR I learned from my dad. He could talk about it for hours.
