This "roadtrip" takes place after Destiny in the episodes.. when Maria and Max decide to go on a roadtrip to get away from the misery.

Rated R for strong language and adult situations.

Maria screams.

"Oh my GOD! You... we... what... tree!" She swerves just in time, and continues to drive erratically through the woods, her hands shaking.

"I cannot believe the police are chasing us, okay, what did you do? I mean, they couldn't have known what we did because, and did they see me? Oh my god, what if this is on the news? What if... they show my face, and Michael sees it? Oh my GOD what if my MOTHER sees it? I am so screwed, we are so screwed, I think I just swallowed a bug or something, and I really have to pee."

I look at her for a moment intently as she goes on and on talking uncontrollably. Her hands shake along with the wheel that jumps in every direction as the Jeep moves on the rugged ground.

In all the excitement that surrounds her, in her blurred scared rambling, in the way that her hair blows wildly in the wind, I can't help but to grin slightly.

I try to interrupt her mid-sentence,

"But.. we didn't do anything..."

She's screaming now about Michael... about TV... about her Mom...

And then she finishes with a bug... did she say she swallowed a bug? I glance back over at her to make sure she's okay and she announces she has to pee.

"Pee? Have you lost your mind? Maria. MARIA?! This is how this started! You having to pee! You can't be serious. I mean... Now?!"

She turns to say something and then I scream,

"WATCH OUT!"

Panic overtakes me as a ravine of some sort sends us over an edge.

Down

It was a large hill and I desperately try to help her keep control of the Jeep.

And then it's too late as it jags to the left... turning... turning... flipping... stopping.

As the Jeep begins to flip, I can feel her body as it falls onto me and I can't help but to protect her as my arms wrap around her neck and the back of her head. The impact was hard as we landed, our heads hitting the roof of the Jeep as it lays upside down.

Her body is trembling slightly and I can feel her hot breath as it exhales onto my neck.

mmmmmm...

I look down at her gently as our faces come almost too close and whisper,

"Are you okay?"

i like this i hope u guys come back and update this and i hope ma/ma get together and fast

The only thing you need to be concerned about is Max, because he's about to get beat up by a girl...

i didnt mean to get anyone in truble i was just letting the writes know i like there fic. but i have to ask a ? this is the ALTERNATE REALITY board then y isnt it aloud to have a MA/MA fic cause in a Alternate Reality they might have gotting together. i just saying cause i'm a GZ fan myself but i like candy too so you know. anyways if they continue this or not it was a good fic

"Um... yeah."

Was all that I could manage to get out as she exhaled again onto my neck. Her body was still laying on top of me in almost an upside down position. If it was any other time than now, if she didn't still love Michael, if we didn't have this whole past, I'm not so sure I wouldn't have caved at this hidden desire. I'm not so sure I would have wanted to leave this position so quickly.

Focus..

I was still worried that she was in fact okay. Thank god we had the windows rolled down all this time as I looked down at her and spoke,

"Do you... um... think you can climb out? Can you move?"

I don't know? I'm only assuming?

Oh god. I feel like I'm asking permission for the top or bottom.

Well, I was asking because when the incident first occured, you implied that Max landed on top of Maria - then you switched it, so... Was just wondering
