Wow has this week ever been busy. I went from sitting on my duff doing nothing to having ONE day off a week. I work tues, wed, thur, Sat right now and I have to go to a computer course on Mondays so that gives me only one full day off. Sundays church so I don't count that a full day off. (meaning I still have to get up early) And my boss told me that in Feb. I will still get to keep my hours as a cashier and on Fri and Sat I'll be training as a Pharmacy Technician. So I will be working tues, wed, thurs, fri, sat. Wow eh? Boy did I bite off a whole wack of responsibility. Oh well. I'll be making decent money and that is definately a perk. So if you all see me on here and I make absolutely no sense at all. Please forgive me. LOL

Wow. That's so cool! :clap So do you work while the kids are in school? And it must be nice to get out of the house after awhile. So how long are you going to be in training? :dunno

Okay, that sounds like a LOT of stress and it's probably kinda weird for you to suddenly hardly ever be home, but I think it's great that your life is taking this huge turn now, and it's a great opportunity, right? Okay, I see this was a pretty confused statement, ahem...i guess I wanted to say that I'm glad you're obviously doing fine in the new job even if it means working a lot!
Go, Cyane! And the money thing is really great! :grin :clap

You sure sound busy. I hope everyone is helping out at home so you don't have to double work every day. That's great that you will be able to move into the Pharm tech training and it's not too far off, either.

Cyane. Sounds like work is keeping you busy. I bet your days just fly by. I hope you are enjoying it though. That's what counts. And, as Laura said, I hope everyone is helping at home so your not swamped when you get there. Good luck!

Thank you guys!

I love this job. It is so demanding and I am so tired when I get home but in a good way. I feel like I have accomplished something. And it is a really great feeling. Yesterday my boss left me a note saying that I did a great job the other day and that she was really happy with me. What boss does that? I can't believe how nice everyone is there. You don't find many jobs that you enjoy simply because working there IS a joy.

Bunny: Yes. I work while my kids are in school at least most of the time. But my hubby is home full time now so I don't have to worry too much. Unless of course my daughter gets stuck in a tree about 15 feet off the ground and is hanging there while my hubby scratches the crap out of himself to get her down. Then I don't have anything at all to worry about. :silly

My family have been totally supportive. Man my hubby has been awesome. He rubs my feet for me when I get home. He always has my supper ready for me. Heck he is treating me WAY better then I treated him when HE got home from work. LOL Of course that could be becasue he never got home from work until like 1 or 2 in the morning and when I did make him a nice meal he didn't eat it as he got home so late (or should I say early) so I stopped making them for him. Oh, he owned his own store so he basically made his own hours, if you know what I mean. LOL

Anyway enough of husband bashing. LOL He's been awesome so I really shouldn't bash. So I'm off to bed. Just know that I will be trying really hard to keep up with you guys with my posting.
LOL (like that's possible) ;)

Going to catch some zzzzzz.
Catch you all Friday,

Michelle

So glad to hear that you like your job so much, Michelle. And that the hubbie is being so supportive! Plus, I'm so happy that you have a great boss. Not many would do what yours did. Mine sure wouldn't! :lol Hope you get some sleep and see you on Friday! :wavey
