And Does anyone Do anything Special on the days it turns out to be Friday the 13th?

Well I'd have to say out of the list the only one that sort of hits me is if I break a mirror. Silly I know but something about it.

Hmmm... I would hope that rain on your wedding day wasn't a bad thing, since there was a huge thunderstorm pouring down drenching rain and hurricane warnings that night, in which only 40 of the almost 200 people showed up. :lol

Of course we all had tons to eat that night! :drink

Well, I do "knock on wood" from time to time. We actually own a black cat, so he crosses my path ALOT! I've heard that it's actually good luck if it rains on your wedding day. I do think you shouldn't let the flag touch the ground, but that's more out of respect than out of superstition.

I agree with you Cory. I have a black cat too and actually lean more on the side of good luck with her. Especially on Halloween I think. My mother also said the same thing about the rain on my wedding day. And well going on 5 years so it must be true! :lol

I also knock on wood every once in a blue moon and I don't think walking under ladders is so much as bad luck as I just avoid it as a hazard. :dunno

I also agree on the flag, never heard that was bad luck.

Yeah, I don't really walk under ladders either, but if I have to, I do. So far, I'm okay. I use to ALWAYS step on a crack to break my mother's back (we didn't like each other for awhile) and well, she's still walking alright. I don't throw salt over my shoulder. Doesn't much matter to me if I break a mirror, but then again, I don't think I ever have. Which is surprising considering I'm a huge klutz! Don't eat an apple a day...even though I probably should eat a little better than I do! :lol
