Yup writing's cool. At least the writing that doesn't have to do with whatever my English teacher makes me do.

You are so right. Except for that stuff. Other writing is cool. Good catch!

Writing for English class *shudders* No, never that. My stuff is more fun to cook up. It's my therapy. As in when I'm having a perfectly lousy day (like today...), I just put life on hold and go write, and, soon enough, I'm in a good mood. And I'm glad you like my stuff. More up soon.

Yeah, I can totally understand that. Music and writing are what get me through life without blowing up emotionally...

Yeah I know what you guys mean. It's like writing is my way of blowing up at the world. Instead of going out and doing something stupid, I write.

It's my therapy. It's where I work through problems and issues and express anger and vent without ripping people's heads off, and where I express opinions. And where I shape and craft stories that will entertain people. That's my payment; to know people enjoy the stories.

I don't get much payment from writing. But my walls sure do. It keeps 'em from getting abuses by my basball bat.

I know the feeling.
Way back in the day, I used to live vicariously through my stories. *shudders* Don't do that no more; it's a lousy substitute for real life. And frustrating, because you can lay out what you want in vivid detail, but it's only on the page, and never in your life, so you're left wanting.

I like the paper better than real life though. I dunno too much shit. Everything's always the same. On paper nothing's ever the same. Always something exciting. It's not my substitue for life. I don't have a life outside the internet and writing and listening to music.

I was the same way. I had no life, and as school was Hell and I had almost no friends, ANYTHING I wrote was better than reality. And, to escape the pain, I created a world where I felt like I belonged and people liked me. Living vicariously got me through. And then (not to sound cheezy, but to tell the full story would take too long) I became a Christian and life got better. And having said that, it sounds cheezy and like an easy fix and life was WONDERFUL after that. lol Not hardly, but to save on space and all that, the barren nutshell version will have to suffice. Now I write, but for different reasons. And it still does, some days, save my walls from being beaten senseless, and it allows me to vent a lot of frustration and pain. Especially about relationships and guys and...yeah. It saved my sanity a few years ago.

My sanity is no longer able to be saved. I'm so far away from sanity I can't even see it anymore.

Sleeping, watching just about anything sci-fi, hanging with my best friend, reading, sleeping more, cuddling my cats, eating out (unless the service is bad - I hate that), hanging out online.

Replace 'watching sci-fi' with 'watchin Alias', and that sounds like me.

I guess cause my "job" forces me to be home all the time; I love just going out. I try to find any sort of reason to just pack up and go browse a store. (Of course that gives me my real pleasure as well when I get to stop by Starbucks.) See I think I might go to the mall today, well just because. I get bored sitting at home all day. (Especially after such excitment yesterday. )
