Info about Brendan's new movie: The Long WeekendOverworked? Undersexed? So is advertising executive Ed Waxman (Brendan Fehr), who must come up with a great new ad campaign within 48 hours or he'll be fired. But his babe magnet brother, Cooper (Chris Klein), has other ideas: to get his stressed-out brother laid. From meeting single mothers to strippers to desperate older ladies, each dating encounter is a disaster. Ed has resigned himself to the fact that he's about to lose his job and will never have sex again...until he meets the woman of his dreams. Now, with hope and luck on his side, maybe - just maybe - he'll be able to save his job and have sex, all in the course of THE LONG WEEKEND. From: Gold Circle Films

Found this on his site a few weeks ago, didn't occur to me to post it... Quote: Quote: June 10, 2005
Well sorry it's been so long but I was doing nothing at first hence there was nothing to report. And then I was busy hence too much to do to deal with the likes of you. Well thinking about it that's really always the case. So your welcome. Anyhoo, I'm announcing the winner of the tremendously successless "Childstar" tix stub contest. Way to go guys. I know, the whole Canuck release thing sucked balls. Well here we go, the winner is... Heavymetal Queen... or someone with a similar name. No that's right. I will be sending her something that will be good. I think we had kinda decided what it'd be so I'll look up that and then get it out to her somehow. Mailing it usually works. And an update as well I suppose. I was in Calgary shooting "Comeback Season" written and directed by Bruce McCullough starring Ray Liotta. It is just a fairly small part really but was a good experience and brought me home to Canada so it was well worth it on all accounts. Any more news and I'll let you know when I feel like it, hopefully sooner but hey, it's my part and I'll cry if I want to. Wait... that doesn't really make sense. Doesn't mean it's not true, just not reall what I was going for there. Anyways, I'm outta here. Well just signing off really, man, I'm just a little off on all these cliche-things. They're not even really cliches. Weak really. Rusty. What can I say? Nothing, I'm typing. I gotta go before it gets worse. Congratulations HMQ and your gift is in the mail. Again, not really, but will be. Arrrghh!
Hehehe... so funny and adorable

I am writing to let everyone who cares (oh, hey buddy) that I have taken a recurring gig on CSI:Miami as the new A/V Tech. Name. Dan Cooper. I've shot the first 2 episodes of the season and am scheduled to do the 3rd. It's just a recurring gig, one or two scenes a show, every couple or 3, 4 shows. It's been alot of fun and just saw Adam today for the first time and we had a nice talk since we haven't in awhile. I figured I would just keep all you up to date really since well you like to be. It's an open contract meaning they just call when they need me and I'll go when I can type deal. It's actually a really sweet gig in terms of the show, the quality and the amount of time required of me. I can still pursue movies and films since it's just episode by episode contract. So that's that. Now here's to that. And that. Maybe this? Aaaaaaand... this.
Hehehe...

I've received quite a number of fan mail recently and besides wanting to "bed" me, it seems the number 2 request seems to be to update my site more recently. Well I'm here to say no way. Wait... aww crap! Too late. I want to thank all you guys for writing in and for supporting me in my endeavors. I do appreciate it very much but though I have been busy not a lot in the way of stuff to update you guys about. Who knows about The Long Weekend. That is still trying to find distribution. Everyone write in to Gold Circle Films and tell'em to get'er done. The Comeback Season is hopefully going to be shown at next years Toronto Film Festival. The Fifth Patient is coming together nicely I hear and they as well might be looking to premiere it in Toronto which would be very cool. As far as CSI goes, I will be in episodes 12 and 13, I miss out on 14 but then 15 I hear will be a treat for anyone who can stand to watch more than one scene of mine. Well 14 will be good for that too, but I think 15 (even though I haven't read it yet but from what I hear) will be a milestone of sorts for the wonderful character of Mr. Daniel Cooper in the fans eyes. I want to again thank you guys for everything and wish you a Happy Holidays. Enjoy.
