Hey guys, I didn't see this posted anywhere yet, and if I missed it I'm sorry. But Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes from the band TLC was killed in a car crash on thursday. I just thought I'd post a link to read the full story for thoose of you that really liked her or knew of her. It's really sad and I just wanted to post it in case you like her and didn't know. I know. I couldn't believe it. I heard about it on Howard Stern of all places and I just thought he was joking around about it, so I didn't think anything of it. When I got to work another mentioned it and then told me the details...I couldn't believe it. My heart goes out to her friends and family.

I agree. I think all of our thoughts are with her and her family.
It's really sad that this happened...
I remember the good old days of listening to TLC when I was younger... Remember all the old songs like, Waterfalls...?

I heard about this a few days ago. Can't believe it, I remember that song Waterfall and No Scrubs and lots more. I heard police were investigating how she died, how come?

Yeah, the only thing I heard was that they were contributing the crash to speeding. That's all I know about it and that there were supposedly 6-7 other people in the vehicle and they all survived and Left Eye passed away at the hospital.

I found this info. on Yahoo regarding what happened to Lisa Lopes:
Lopes was killed Thursday night after she lost control of the Mitsubishi Montero SUV she was driving just outside the city of Jutiapa.
According to investigators, the rapper-singer was coming from an herbal healing center in the city of La Ceiba and attempted to pass another car on a two-lane highway when an oncoming truck forced her to swerve to the left. The vehicle, carrying eight passengers, ran off the road, flipped over several times and struck two trees.
Lopes, the so-called "crazy" member of the Grammy-winning Atlanta-based R&B trio, suffered fractures and internal injuries. She died at the scene.
The other passengers survived the crash and were hospitalized. All are expected to recover.
Honduran Police cited speeding as the cause of the accident, though Police Inspector John Cole said investigators are still trying to determine exactly how fast she was driving.
An autopsy was reportedly scheduled to be performed before her body was shipped back to Atlanta Monday for burial.

Yeah speeding kills millions of people a year...
OH and this article in the NY Post it said that she also killed a little boy with that Van about a week ago, but it wasn't her fault so she didn't get sued. The family didn't know she was famous til they heard about this and they didn't press charges cuz they said it was no one's fault or something like that. She also paid for the boy's funeral and gave the family money too.

Yeah, I saw that in an article as well. Ok...this is going to sound bad, but I don't know how else to word it...She had a shitty week...first she hits a little boy and kills him and then she dies herself! Man, I thought I had bad weeks sometimes!

Yeah it seems she did have a bad week. It's like her life just went on a downward spiral that ended up with her 6 feet under.

I didn't really have the time to post about this earlier. I thought it was so sad when I heard about it. I watched some stuff on MTV about her the past week or so. Well she's gonna be missed, she was very talented.
